*Riley's POV*
The bell for 3:00 rang and finally I was out of school. I walked out of class and towards Peter's locker when I felt someone grab my arm and before I knew it I was in a supply closet pinned to the wall.
"Hey babe. Haven't seen you in awhile." I knew who it was. "Get off me Xavier." I said pushing at his chest. He had both arms trapping my head. "So who's your little friend?" He whispered in my ear. "None of your business. Just leave me alone." I cried.
"Does he ever tell you how beautiful you look." He said. I stood there with my eyes closed trying to stop tears from coming out. "Does he ever hold your hand. Or play with your hair? Even if he did, I could do better." He whispered caressing my leg.
"Go away!" I screamed as I pushed him the hardest I could. He stumbled a bit and I took the opportunity to run. I ran out the supply closet and through all the crowded people.
Not knowing where I was running I found myself running up the stairs. I turned the corner and saw Peter at his locker. I ran towards him and he turned around at the sound of me running.
He caught me as I ran into him-crying into his sweater. "Riley?" he said concerned. "What happened? Why are you crying?" he said. "It w-was Xavier." I sniffed. "Did he hit you?" he asked as I felt his body tense up.
I shook my head. "He pulled me into the supply closet and he almost-" "What?" Peter said cutting me off. He let go of me and I knew what he was gonna do. "Peter, stop." I said grabbing his arm. "It's not worth it." I said pulling him back. He pulled me into a hug again. "Then what do you want me to do?" he asked. "Just take me home." I said. "Can we still hang out?" he asked. "Yeah." I sniffed.
"Okay then."

We walked up to my house and I saw my brother, Ryker's car and my mom's. "You have a nice house." Peter said walking up behind me. "Thanks." I smiled. I unlocked the door with my key and walked in the house and hoped that my brothers wouldn't be nosy.
"Ryker! I'm home!" I shouted. Cameron came from downstairs. "Hey baby—Who's this?" He said cutting himself off. "Ryker! Aiden!" Cameron called. My brothers came from their room that they shared and came downstairs.
"Oh my gosh." I groaned. "Who's this?" Ryker said. "No one." I said. "You can take off your shoes over there." I said to Peter. He nodded and took off his shoes but the whole time he kept his eyes on my brothers.
"Guys calm down. He's just a friend." I said. "What's your name?" Aiden asked Peter. "Peter." Peter said. "Why are you here?" Ryker asked. "She asked me to come over. We're working on homework then going to her friend's game." Peter explained.
"How are your grades, Peter?" Aiden asked. "All A's." Peter said. "You're a senior, right?" Ryker asked. "Yes." Peter nodded. "Leave him alone." I said dragging Peter passed them and going up the stairs. "Keep your door open." Cameron said as he stared down Peter.
Once I reached my room I closed the door half way. "This is it." I said sitting on my bed. "It looks very...you." he said looking around. "What's that supposed to mean?" I said. He shrugged. "I don't know your very pink. I guess." I laughed.
I laid down on my bed and a few seconds later I felt the bed dip and saw Peter laying next to me. "School's very stressful." Peter sighed. "Yeah. I like being home more. Just so I don't have to do homework." I agreed. "I actually like going to school. Only to get away from home." He said. "Are your parents annoying?" I asked. "Something like that." He thought.
"Are your parents annoying?" He asked. "Sometimes. I don't really like it when they start asking questions about other things but my school work." I explained. "Are your siblings annoying?" He said.
