Chapter Nine

*Riley's POV*

"Finally." Ethan said. "Sorry we got lost." I giggled. "So now what are we going to do?" Sadie asked? "We are going to see Charlie Puth perform at the stage." Ethan said. "What?" Emily asked shocked. "On his Twitter, he said he'd be performing here." Kevin explained.

"Really?" I asked. "Yes. Now let's go." Ethan said leading us to the stage. Once we got there there was already a huge crowd and thanks to Alyssa we got to the front of it. "I can't believe this." Tracy whispered to me. "I know right." I smiled.

"How are we doing this afternoon?" Charlie spoke into the microphone on stage. A chorus of 'goods' and 'greats' came from the crowd. "That's good. That's good. I'm happy all of you could come out and see me today." He said. "Now let's get started." The music began playing and I instantly knew the song. "I love this song." I gasp. Peter let out a small laugh at my excitement.

I sang along as did the rest of the crowd. I heard Peter singing bits of the song also. 

I know that dress is karma

I sang the lyrics in a sort of daze as I loved the song. Peter laughed. "What? I like the song." I defended. "Yeah I know and it's adorable." He smiled. I felt blood rush to my face and I looked back on the stage.

The girls and I sat at a table as the boys went to go get food. "So how was everyone's day?" Alyssa asked. "I had fun." Tracy said. "What happened?" Alyssa asked. "Well first Ethan and I went to a gift shop and he got me a necklace then we went on a few rides." Tracy explained.

"Ooo. Nice. Sadie and I went on the drop roller coaster the whole time." Alyssa laughed. "What did you and Kevin do, Emily?" Sadie asked. "Well first Kevin and I went on the carousel then he got me this monkey." Emily said holding up an orange and gray striped monkey.

"Riley? What happened between you and Peter?" Tracy smirked. "Nothing much. We went on a roller coaster then he got me a bear and finally we took pictures." I explained. "Let us see the pictures." Emily said. I brought out the two picture strips Peter and I took earlier.

"That is so cute." Alyssa gushed. "Wait, he let you kiss him?" Emily said referring to the first picture. "Well no. The countdown thing was happening and I kind of just panicked. I mean he didn't really refuse." I shrugged.

"My favorite is probably the last one. The way he looks at you is adorable. He definitely likes you." Tracy smiled as the girls all nodded in agreement. "He doesn't like me." I said.

"Who?" Ethan asked as the boys came back with food. "Nothing." Alyssa and I said in unison. "Okay then." Kevin said setting down a tray. "You guys got macaroni and cheese." Emily said. "Only thing we could find." Kevin said. "Doesn't matter. I love macaroni and cheese." Sadie said grabbing a bowl.

Peter sat next to me and I gave him back his things. "So what are we doing after this?" Alyssa asked. "I'm not sure but it closes around 6:00." Sadie said. "It's 5:30." Ethan sighed. "Ugh. I don't want to go home." Emily whined.

"How about we all go on the ferris wheel then we can go." I suggested. "I agree." Tracy said. "I'm down." Peter said.

A few minutes later we finished our food and started to head for the ferris wheel. "Okay are we gonna go with our buddy?" Emily asked as we got in line. "Yeah." Sadie said linking arms with Alyssa. After the line went down it was finally our turn.

Ethan and Tracy got in one cart, Sadie and Alyssa, Emily and Kevin and Peter and I. "What time do you have to be home?" Peter asked me as the cart started to go up. "I have a curfew of 2:00 am." I said. "Cool." He said. "What time do you have to be home?" I asked. "My dad wants me in the house by 7:00." He said. I nodded.

I yawned and laid my head on his shoulder. "Tired?" he asked. "Today's been long I guess." I said fiddling with the picture strip. "Yeah. What's tomorrow?" Peter said laying his head on mine. "Wednesday." I said. "Thank god. Wanna hang out tomorrow after school?" Peter said.

"Yeah, I'd like that. You can come over to my house if you want?" I said. "Yeah. That sounds good." he agreed. "But just to let you know, I'm the only girl child out of three brothers. And they can be a bit protective sometimes." I warned. "That's okay." He said.

We reached the top and the cart stopped. I looked around. "It's amazing." I breath. "It is." Peter agreed. The cart started moving again. "Peter, do you have any siblings?" I asked laying my head back down on his shoulder. He was quiet for a while until he finally said something.

"I think."

I was confused. "What?" I asked. Our cart stopped for us to get out. "I'll tell you another time." He said letting me get out.

Second, I'm sorry I didn't post yesterday. I had dance and on Monday I was thinking of trying to post and then today I thought I did post so I wasn't worried.

But then I got on Wattpad and saw that I didn't so there's two chapters going up.
