After enjoying a relaxing birthday weekend away in New York, thanks to Dave, I was more than ready to return home to my baby. I pulled into my Aunt's driveway almost sprinting to the front door.

I unlocked her door with the spare key that I made for myself and walked into her house which was rather quiet.

"Aunt Steph!" I yelled as I placed my keys and purse on the side table by the door. Normally she has some type of old school r&b music playing because she claimed that she couldn't stay in a house that was too quiet.

"Charli!" I also yelled in hopes of her running down the steps screaming my name, but she didn't.

"Okay, this is weird," I whispered as I walked through the quiet kitchen.

Her car was parked in her driveway so I know that she couldn't have been anywhere but here.

I walked up the stairs towards the guest bedroom where Charli sleeps when she's over here and there was nothing in there. It was spotless as if Charli had never come to spend the weekend here. There was this weird feeling forming in my stomach.

I was beginning to get a little concerned and made my way towards my aunt's room, with hopes that the both of them were in there. I had a weird gut feeling all weekend while I was away, after Cain called me telling me that he had our daughter with him.

I slowly pushed the door open to my aunt's bedroom and sighed in relief as I saw the both of them laying on her bed watching Princess and the Frog. My aunt was asleep while Charli was sitting up with her eyes glued to the screen.

"Mommy!" She screeched as she sprinted off of the bed and into my arms.

"Shh," I said while placing my finger on my lips. "I know you see your auntie sleeping." I looked over and noticed that her bags were packed over in the corner of the bedroom.

"I know, I'm sorry. I'm just happy to see you, I missed you mommy," she said while putting her little kisses all over my face. Little moments like these are what I appreciated the most.

I heard some shuffling on the bed and looked over and noticed that my aunt was waking up.

"Girl don't scare me like that. Looking me in the face like that when I'm waking up. I didn't know who walked in my house," she said before walking into her bathroom.

"Teetee is a little grumpy," I said while grabbing her jacket for her to put on from the corner.

I began to grab some of Charli's things before turning around "Why'd you pack all of her things and put in here? You normally leave it in the room?" I asked curious as to why she even did this.

"I thought it would be quicker to get her things and put it in the car instead of having it sprawled out everywhere like it normally is," she said while avoiding eye contact with me.

"Are you okay?" She was acting like she normally does and I wasn't feeling it at all.

"Yes, I'm fine Kristoni. Just make sure that you have all of her things before you leave."

I raised my eyebrow at her, yeah she's definitely not acting like herself right now. And I noticed that she was avoiding looking at me too, almost like she was trying to hide something from me. I got up and walked over to the side of the bed that she was sitting on and I noticed her slightly move her head away from me.
