The most clichè written love story is falling inlove with your best friend.
Some people intentionally look for a friend opposite of their sex. Girls want a boy friend to avoid drama, boys want a girl friend to feel the need to be vulnerable at times. But with mine, it came like a flower constantly bloom as you water and take a good care.
We know each other eversince we were kids. We were playmates in prep school even though he is not my classmate because are nannies love to chika while we play and we are school mates from grade school up to tertiary.
Everything was fun and smooth between us not until all those romance books kicked in and my love for my bestfriend get mixed up with those romantic feelings, leaving me confused.
Little did I know, its not just me who who started to feel those things. But the problem is, I found myself with his brother. Out of confusion? Maybe. Out of desperation? Perhaps.
The dilemma with unvoiced desire is even if years have passed, the harder you supress it, the more it will grow day by day. But as we get older situations tends to be more problematic than it already is. Will we be able to make it? How far this time?
Indeed, falling inlove with your best friend is the most clichè thing. But what never gets old is that friendship is a great foundation for every relationship.
