Signs, and friends
As Amy walked in class she earned multiple questioning looks, but only one smile. Her teacher, Mr Brown motioned her to sit next to a boy with dark black raven hair. The boy held his hand out for Amy to shake it. "Nice to meet you, I'm Mark," Mark smiled shaking Amy's hand."Hi-i, I'm Am-my," She replied shaking back. Amy was 14, Mark just a few months older. Amy was still very nervous in talking to people as the only people who she had spoken to before were her Mum, Dad and Grandad. She sat down and shortly after Mr Brown ordered silence. "Right, today, we will be teaching you simple self-defence, which will get harder as you get older and stronger," They began looking at charts and diagrams, discussing which options to take in a dangerous situation. Soon after they had finished their lecture, it was the second class with Miss. Finnegan. This was armour and weapons class, Amy, once again, sat next to her new found friend, Mark, they laughed and giggled examining the weapons that were placed in front of them. "Ahem, Miss. Nelson, what would you use the sword for?" Miss Finnegan asked squinting at Amy, Amy smiled back. "I'm not quite sure, its my first day," Amy said hanging her head in defeat, this teacher had it out for her. Miss. Finnegan strutted to the front of her class slamming a ruler down on the back of her leather chair, "NO! NO EXCUSES LITTLE MISSY!" Amy shot up and ran out of the classroom Mark following behind. "Go away teach," She murmured before realising it was Mark. "I'm sorry I thought it was the wicked witch of the west chasing me," Amy said giggling. They both laughed and sat down near the lockers. "Wanna ditch and get ice cream, there's some in the cafeteria, I saw it when I got the tour this morning?" Amy asked, Mark quickly nodded. Amy grabbed his hand and led him to the kitchen, they both were giggling and laughing before Amy told him to shush. Instead of attending morning classes they each ate at least 5 tubs of ice cream each until the lunch cooks came in. "OY! BRATS IN MY KITCHEN!" The cook screamed launching herself toward Amy and Mark who stood up and booked It to Amy's family apartment. Amy knocked on the door which her frantic mother answered, "AMY, WHY ARE YOU NOT AT SCHOOL, AND WHO IS THIS, I JUST GOT A PHONE CALL SAYING YOU WERE FOUND IN THE KITCHENS!?" Dee roared at the top of her lungs, as tears started forming in Amy's eyes. "Miss. Nelson, Miss. Finnegan was being really hard on Amy and considering it's her first day, I tried to cheer her up so we ate ice cream," Mark stepped forward and offered to shake Dee's hand. "Why isn't your new friend such a gentleman Amy? Come inside kids, I need the full story, I don't want you expelled on the first day, I want that wicked teacher gone,"Dee apologised. After Mark and Amy explained in full detail what happened, Dee said they could go play video games in Amy's room. On the way to her door, Amy tripped on the table leg. She rolled around the floor clutching her leg and crying until her skin, hair, and clothes, turned blue. Dee grabbed the phone and rang general Nelson as Thomas was at soldier training. "It happened, her egos are here..." Muffled noises came from the phone until Chief Nelson burst through the door running to Amy, Mark had fainted from shock.
Her sadness ego had taken over, she was in so much pain from her leg the ego finally stepped up and took control, know it was just a waiting game for romance, anger, and crazed to show up. David (the general) bandaged up her leg releasing the pain, as her blue skin faded away and she returned to her pallid self, this would take some explaining to Mark, but she would wait till he was older, much older. The general carried Amy to her bed and lay Mark down beside her, this would take a clever lie to fool Mark, he's a clever kid. However, Amy was warned of the curse at a young age and is not allowed to speak of it until the minute she turns eighteen.
