Chapter 4

I stayed home from school for a couple of days so Billy could get Austin's schedule changed. Plus I was scared to go back. My fourth hour is the only class that I don't have one of the boys in so Billy fixed that. Austin and I have been up each others butts the last several days.

We have got to make it like we are mated. When mates mate there scents mix together so that's why me and Austin have to be around each other so our scents will stick together to make it look like we are mates. It's annoying though, after my showers Austin is right there waiting on me so he can rub up on me. I think he likes it because he'll grab me rub on he the walk away smiling. Dork.

"Ready girlfriend of mine?" he chirps walking into my room. See he is enjoying this. He never chirps. I just nod as he grabs my hand pulling me downstairs.

"Theres the happy couple." Billy says as we hit the bottom steps. I think everyone is enjoying this. I'll catch mom and dad smiling at us. Same for Billy and Tonya. Weirdos.

"Ah yes." Austin sighs dramatically slinging his arm around my shoulder. "I just can't get enough of my beautiful mate." he chirps. I cock an eyebrow shaking my head. Freak. I'm not beautiful for one. I'm plain and simple. I'm not one of his usual Barbies he has on his arm.

"Don't over do Austin." Billy says rolling his eyes.

"What? Aren't I suppose to be all googly eyed over my mate?" Austin ask.

"Well yeah but." he sighs. "Just don't over do it son."

"Fine." Austin sighs disappointed pulling me out of the house. Why is he disappointed? Some times I think Austin wants me to be his mate but I know that can't be true for several reasons.

One because he's an alpha. He needs a good strong alpha female something I'm not. Two I'm not pretty enough. I'm just not good enough for him for anyone really. I have this theory. Even though I have this feeling that my mate is in this pack I know he is going to reject me. I mean come on who wants a plain Jane that can't speak, shift, mind link, who's afraid of men? Not many. And even if my mate is in that pack and wants me. I'd reject him. I know I sound mean but rouges are cruel. I couldn't handle that and not only that I couldn't leave my family. They are my family after all. They are my security blanket. I know nothing bad is going to happen with them. "Ready girlfriend?" Austin ask bring my out of my day dream.

*ready boyfriend* I sign. He winks at me getting out

And runs to my side opening the door for me. *what a gentleman* I sign rolling my eyes.

"Of course can have my baby opening the door for herself now can I?" he ask winking again closing the door.

*your having way to much fun with this aren't you* I ask sighing.

"You have no clue." he say slinging his arm over my shoulder. "Let's play." he whispers in my ear. I nod putting my arm around his waist.

We walk into school with people giving us funny looks. I blush lowing my head. Austin laughs.

"Embarrassed?" he ask. I nod not going to lie. This is embarrassing. He walks me to my locker where Emma is standing. "I'll see you in a few." he tells me. I nod an okay.

"I heard the rumors but I didn't believe." she says watching him walk away. Yep they came up with a cover story because he had to break it off with his current girlfriend and for them.

So he broke up with his girlfriend lying saying he has been seeing me for a while now behind her back. You know using her as a cover to keep our relationship a secret. She was mad of course but she'll get over it.

And I though wait what about you sleeping with her and he said he never did with it getting so close to his birthday he just felt like if he did then he would be cheating on his mate. I understood that.

"So you've been seeing him behind my back and didn't even tell me." she says with hurt. I take out a piece of paper.

*I know Em and I'm sorry really I am. We just wanted to keep it to ourselves for a while* I write. I hate lying to her but I have too.

"But he was dating Megan." she says. I nod.

*yeah I knew about it. He has a rep you know? He has to have a girl on his arm and we were afraid of the repercussions of this* I write.

"Your afraid your going to get bullied?" she ask me. I nod. "Why?" she ask. She knows no one will mess with me.

*because I'm the longest relationship he has ever had* I write.

"I see your point." she says. I wave my hand telling her lets go and start walking to them. She follows of course. She's getting her wish because as long as this goes on I'll be with the boys and she'll be with me. Poor girl.

"Hey babe." Austin chirps pulling me into his arms. I glare up at him wrapping my arms around his waist.

"I don't believe this. She really isn't your girlfriend." Megan says from behind me. Austin's ex girlfriend. Austin sighs heavily.

"Yeah she is for a while now Megan." he tells her.

"Prove it." she huffs.

"How would you like me to prove it?" he ask.

"Kiss her. I mean if she really is. You wouldn't have a problem kissing her. I'm sure you do because she'd make anyone gag at just the thought of kissing her." she says. Is that suppose to hurt my feelings? Because it doesn't.

He doesn't say anything back just lifts up my chin leaning down presses his lips to mine. He licks my lips asking for entrance. Yes this is my first kiss but I do know what to do. So I open my mouth and he slides his tongue in my mouth I follow his lead. And let me tell you it's daaaaamn. Yeah that good. I wrap an hand around his neck bringing him closer to me the more we get into the kiss as he pulls me by my waist closer to him.

"Gross I do not want to see this. Come on Em I'm walking you to class." I hear Zander say.

"Bitch!" I hear Megan screech. I didn't care I was enjoying this. This was to good. He tasted like mint and it was good. Truthfully I didn't want to stop. We kissed for I don't know how long.

"Alright you two break it up now. We get it." I hear Zev grunt. One of the boys. I feel my face heat up as Austin breaks the kiss. I bury my face in his neck panting as he buries his in mine.

"Embarrassed?" he whispers. I nod because I am. He chuckles. He stops suddenly when we hear growling. He snaps his head as I swiftly turn around. He brings his arms over my chest bringing me closer to him growling. I put my hands aroung his wrist squeezing them. "It's alright." he whispers to me. I nod an okay. "Let's give them a show." he whispers. I turn my head to the side confused just as he cups my neck pressing his lips to mine. He kisses my again slowly.

Now I could get use to this.
