The Ex's

I had to attend a funeral with my Ex he had a brother pass away which was very odd because my brother passed away not even 6 months ago, very strange that both of us had to endure the same pain. Anyways this is not about the funeral this is about the Ex's as I contemplate this ritual of civility, it is not unknown that I absolutely do not get along with my ex-husband he has lied about me after everything that he has done to me he remains an asshole. I had to endure this Catholic event that lasted for a week and endure two days of the ceremony it was so unbearable I felt like I could barely breathe. The whole event was morbid a young man died, and people just sat there and looked at the coffin and sobbed. I was there for my daughters who lost an uncle but most of all for my young friend who I raised as a "sister-in-law" and now we remain friends and was there for my comrade. Everyone was cordial and nice to me except for the hater's that disliked me always and remain the same. But by the same token, it was just uncomfortable seeing my Ex with his girlfriend that he calls "Barbie" because she is tall and skinny and has a good body but is not kind to the eyes. This girl is not pretty but he is so enthralled over her he dotes on her and takes care of her, ugh it is so disgusting to see this type of behavior. I cannot believe that this man thinks he has a prize and he truly does look like an idiot. It doesn't matter he did not love me, and it did sting a bit to see him act this way with her oblivious to everything. I do not want this man, but his arrogance is just appalling, and I had to sit there and smile that fake smile that says I'm ok. I was not ok I truly wanted to go and slap his face I literally had visions of slapping his fucken smug smile off his face. I refrained and just kept smiling, everyone was talking to me and I felt like I was in this tunnel and people were just blurry I hugged so many people it was embarrassing like a nervous tick. I must say I looked awesome and held my head high, yeah, she may have a good body but so do I, but I am classy and sexy with a twist of intelligence and a pretty face. I am not trying to be conceited but it is true I am the full package and this moron of an Ex left me for an ugly skinny bitch. It is appalling but it happens to all of us. I remember going to a party with my new boo and his aunt was there and so was her Ex and he acted like he was the "belle of the ball" he danced and drank and talked to everyone and I could see her, the half-witted smile and her eyes said it all. Asshole. I find it hard to believe that an EX is cool with the EX's these men cheated on you, treated you badly, humiliated you in public and they expect you to be friends. Fuck that!!! We will never be friends with the Ex's it is just a "charade" we endure for the family.

To the ladies that endure the Ex's, I understand that smile. Keep smiling, then have a beer, smoke a joint, a cigarette or whatever is your poison and breath and tell them to Fuck off.
