A/N: Got this charm from Coach today and someone on Twitter said it looked like something Roman would make him.Making something for Patton was incredibly easy, you just make something to do with puppies he'd adore it. Roman had been making him a little collection of figurines that were all different breeds of dogs; every time he'd given him one, he'd practically burst into tears of joy.
Making something for Logan was slightly more difficult, but as long as he did something to play to his love of Sherlock Holmes, Doctor Who, and anything else geeky he could always come up with something. For example, the fan fiction he'd written for him for Christmas a year ago, which he'd adored so much that Roman wrote him a sequel for it to give to him for his birthday this year.
Making something for Virgil however, proved to be impossible. He wanted to make him something, feeling guilty for the way he treated him. The problem was, he didn't know what.
Roman wracked his brain for something that would be unique to make him. He wanted to make him something he would actually want to wear or use. Perhaps he could knit him another sweater? No, he'd done that before. A beanie? He's expressed that he doesn't think he looks good in hats. He could buy him make-up, but that wasn't cheap and not something he could make himself very easily.
"What about jewelry?" he thought aloud to himself, tapping the eraser of his pencil to his lips. The prince nodded, smiling a little. "A necklace, perhaps. He might like that, and at least it would show him that I care."
He began to sketch the concept of the necklace, focusing on an alteration of his storm cloud logo. He figured he could add a little flare, drawing raindrops and a small rainbow, but keeping it all purple and blue to match Anxiety's color scheme. The creative Side then closed his eyes and focused on creating the necklace out of nothing. It was one of his gifts of being the creative Side. It was difficult to create things that weren't cut and dry, hence why it was hard to make things like make-up.
His head swirled a little with dizziness, but when he opened his eyes, a completed necklace sat in front of him. A grin spread across Roman's face as he picked it up, tracing the chain with his fingers. He hoped he would like it.
Making his way toward the anxious Side's room with the necklace, he could feel his skin crawling with excitement and ironically anxiety. He was worried it would be too feminine or not his style, that Virgil would think he was a weirdo for making him something like that for no apparent reason. He really wanted him to like it, and him.
He knocked on the door, shuffling his feet as he waited for him to open it. "Yeah?" Virgil said as it swung inward. "Oh, hey Princey, what's up?"
"I wanted to give you this," Roman said, handing him the necklace. "As a peace offering. I know I wasn't always the most kind or understanding when it came to your role and contributions to Thomas and his life, but I want you to know I was wrong, so I made you this, that's it, hope you like it!"
He rushed away, red face and embarrassed over how he'd just started rambling. Virgil watched his back with wide eyes before his gaze fell down to the purple storm cloud charm with the dark blue rhinestone raindrops. It was perfect.
He grinned as he went back into his room and clip it around his neck, reaching up to feel it sitting against his chest with a fluttery feeling in his stomach. It was perfect.
