|Jimim's Pov|

I didn't think I would ever be going to Jungkooks wedding.

Yet it seems like my life proved me wrong. Of course, I'll try and talk to Jungkook, just to make sure that what we once had is over. I don't plan on giving him up but.. if there really is no chance then I might as well.

I sighed as I didn't know what to think about all of this, also.. why did he even bother inviting me to his wedding? I figured that at some point I'll have to ask to meet up with him and talk about this.

As the bus that I was on came to the stop I had to get off, I took my suitcase and walked out of the bus to take a deep breath of fresh air into my lungs. Only then I felt anxiety inside of me starting to stir inside my stomach.

I was going to go back to my old house after those 8 years of not talking to my mother. How is she going to react? I mean, she should take me in eaither way, right?

Right.

I walked for about 5 minutes until I got to the very familiar street and soon I stood in front of my mother's house. I closed my eyes to once again take a deep breath then collecting up all of my courage I rang the doorbell and waited until the door started to open and in the door frame stood my aged mother.

At first it seemed as if she didn't recognise me but just a few seconds later her mouth fell open and eyes went wide.

"Jiminie!" The woman cried out as she pulled me in for a motherly hug that I really missed. I was mad at her for such a long time, that I didn't even think I should've tried and talk it out with her before. Maybe.. Maybe if I contacted her before then maybe I would've been able to get close to Jungkook again..

So many things I could've done before to prevent today but I was too focused on myself. How stupid of me..

"Hey, mom." I greeted with a smile when she pulled away from me.

"Before you say anything me I just wanted to say that I am truly sorry about all the things I've done 8 years ago. I know I should've listened to you and Jungkook and try to understand." She apologized with an apologetic tone.

"It's alright now, mom. I know you wanted well.." I said putting my hand on her shoulder. She smiled sadly at me.

"If you don't mind me asking, why are you back so suddenly?" She questioned. I didn't expect her to know, after all she and Jungkooks dad stopped being together strictly after a year that I left. Since then she hadn't had any contact with Jungkook or his dad.

"I got invited to Jungkooks wedding.." I answered looking down.

"Oh.. I see." She also looked down probably feeling like it's her fult that I'm not with Jungkook anymore. "I haven't changed anything in your room so you should find yourself out there just fine." She said and I nodded with a sigh. I walked up the stairs and without even thinking I walked into my room and flopped on my bed. That's when a familiar sent hit my nose.

I knew it wasn't mine, because it was Jungkooks. It's surprising that his sent still clings onto my pillows. I gripped one tightly hoping that one day it won't be a pillow but Jungkook himself.

Just then there was a faint knock on the room door so I looked up.

"Hey, would it be okay if you could go and buy me some salt? I just ran out, and I know you just got here but I'm in the middle of cooking and I can't just throw everything down." She explained and I nodded my head brushing my light orange hair with my hand.

"Sure."

Me and my mom walked down the stairs for her to hand me some money for the salt. I left the house and started walking towards the local shop few blocks away. I started to notice all the changes that happened around here, I realised there was a park built nearby and a few more little stores as well.

But when I got to the shop it seemed like it didn't change at all. It's as if I just went back in time. I searched quickly for the salt and as I was passing one of the shelves I caught a glimpse of a person I didn't think I would be seeing so soon. I stopped in my tracks as both me and him nearly walked into each other.

He didn't change at all, chocolate brown hair with deep dark shiny eyes. That was Jeon Jungkook that I came to know.

"You're back.." He said. I was about to reply but..

"Oppa! I found the sauce, we can go now." A girl came up to Jungkook and clinging into his arm like her life depends on it. Seems like she didn't even notice me until a few seconds after. "Oh, sorry for just cutting in like this." The girl said embaressed and she bowed 90 degree to introduce herself. "I'm Kim Taeyoon. Nice to meet you." She greeted and I also bowed.

"Park Jimin." I said and that information hit the girl as if she just realised who I really was.

"Oh! You must be the one who was supposed to be Jungkookies stepbrother then, right?" So he told her about me, just not the past that he used to love me.. I looked at Jungkook whose gaze ran away from mine. Coward. I looked back at the girl and smiled.

"Yeah, that's me." I said. "Anyways, I gotta go find some salt now." I added not wanting to stay here any longer. "Also, Jungkook-" I begun looking at Jungkook once more. "I'll text you later, we need to talk." I said and I could just about see how Jungkook swallowed his saliva. I turned around and went to finally find that salt and get back home as soon as possible.

I didn't know that seeing Jungkook with a girl would hurt so much.

So the girl is not Jisoo or Lisa like some of you thought it would be.
