Chapter 20|| Working Hard

|Jimin's Pov|

Around two months have passed since me and Jungkook came to America and honestly, I wasn't doing so great in University anymore. I felt like I was getting suffocated more and more by each day but I couldn't show it to anyone, I didn't want to worry them. Today I came back home with another pile of homework that I had to add to the already unfinished pile of homework.

Well, guess I'm going to pull all nighter again..

I walked into my room, worn out, but even so, I sat in front of my desk, got out my pen, pencil and rubber plus my homework; turned on my small desk lamp and started to work on my homework. I felt my eyelids being unable to open so easily so at some point I had to get up and get some coffee before I fell asleep in the middle of doing my homework.

Walking out of my room I found my way into the kitchen and started to prepare myself a cup of coffee. That's when Alex came in and see me staring into the abyss. "You alright? You look tired as hell." He said and I looked at him blankly.

"Nah, I'm fine. Just a bit bored of homework." I brushed it off getting my cup of hot, steamy coffee.

"Jimin."

I turned around to look back at Alex, waiting for him to continue.

"You should take a break sometime." I nodded slightly with a forced smile and then I left to lock myself back in my room.

I sat back down sipping on the hot drink while skimming through my homework to estimate how much longer I'll be doing all of this and honestly, I gave up not even halfway through it, instead I just decided to get on and hopefully finish by the end of the week.

I don't know how long I've been sitting in my room, head over homework, but it sure has been a while. Looking at my small clock on my desk I realised it's already 3AM and I only just started my third homework out of god knows how much. Alright Jimin, just finish this one and go to sleep.

So I stated up for another around 2 hours and when I finally felt satisfied with the work I've done I cleaned up my desk and then decided to take a shower and head to bed for.. well, two hours.. I sighed opening my room door and heading to the bathroom that inconvinetly was unavailable as someone was already in there. I rested my back and head on the wall next to the bathroom door waiting for whoever was inside to get out as I was really sleep deprived and I really wanted those two hours of rest from my life.

Finally the door knob turned and the door opened revealing Jungkook who must've woke up to go to the toilet. He looked at me surprised, not expecting to see me there. "Jimin-ah, why aren't you asleep? I thought you had classes from 8?" He questioned and I had to force a smile on my face once again.

"Yeah, well I just woke up early and I wanted to take a morning shower." Jungkook still looked pretty surprised as I probabbly didn't look too great. He opened his mouth wanting to say something but me, seeing what he was about to ask, cut him off. "Don't worry. I'm just not used to waking up this early so I'm still really tired, but a shower will wake me up for sure." I added with a fake 'reassuring-smile' and that seemed to calm down the guy and he walked away back into his room as I walked into the bathroom.

The first thing I did was turn on the shower tap to get the warm water as I started to get undressed and then stepping under the shower. I didn't spend much time under the water as I was too afraid I'll eventually pass out and get everyone worried; which I didn't want to happen, so after a minute or so, I stepped out, quickly dried myself, changed into clean clothes and walked back to my room where I instantly fell asleep, but it didn't feel like I fell asleep at all as my alarm clock rang exactly after I closed my sleepy eyes. 

Lazely opening my eyes I glued my eyes to the ceiling and sighed as I for some reason felt much more sleep deprived then before.

Well, coffee through out the whole day it is..

I rolled out of bed ruffling my hair and walking over to my closet where I took out a pair of jeans and a hoodie that I wore over my t-shirt I slept in, I couldn't do that with the jeans so I had to take off my sleeping shorts and put on my jeans instead. After, I took my backpack and headed to the kitchen to grab a cup of coffee before I go on another day sleep deprived.

As I was about to leave the house I got stopped by Jungkook who suddenly appeared in the kitchen with me. "Hey, I was wondering, since you only have two lessons today, how about we hang out together?" He asked leaning against the wall near me.

I looked at him with a mixed expression and finally said: "I'm sorry but I think I'll have to study when I get back.. I'm still quite behind on all the work plus I have tests coming up and also I'm gonna have to go to work so.. sorry.. but not today.." I explained and Jungkooks faint smile faded and was replaced with a unreadable expression. He nodded slightly and muttered an okay after disappearing from my view.

I'm sorry Jungkook, but I have a lot of things going on right now..

Let me be honest, I have no clue what I am doing right now.

This will either go well, or not. So don't hate me if the story gets bad or something lmao ^^'
