I blinked as I stared at the clock. I've been doing that for hours now.
My parents didn't argue last night but I couldn't sleep. I don't know, I just was always uncomfortable. It felt like I needed to stretch my legs but whenever I did that, the feeling never stopped.
Once the clock hit 6:00 I got changed, too tired to make any effort to look cute or shower. But I did shower last night when I came home.

I put my moccasins on as I put on one of Jackson's zip up hoodies making a small smile appear on my lips.
After I threw my hair up in a bun I walked downstairs and peeked out the window waiting for Jackson.
Once I saw him pull in the driveway I walked out not giving him time to walk inside as usual.
I opened his car door easily and slid in as he looked at me weirdly.
"You ok princess?" he asked softly.
I nodded and buckled up as I leaned against the window.
"What happened to my happy baby?" he asked.
I didn't answer as I rested my eyes.
"Did something happened with your parents?" he asked slowly.
I shook my head and thought about my fighting parents.
Why are they always fighting anyways?
"Kiari?"
I jumped and looked around. We were at school.
I opened the door but Jackson stopped me.
"Please talk to me, what happened?"
"It's ok JJ, I'm just tired."
I got out of the car quickly and left when I saw Cody by my locker holding 2 drinks.
"Hi CoCo" I said softly.
He looked down at me and smiled.
"I got you a hot chocolate, I didn't know how you liked your coffee" he said.
"Thank you" I smiled.
I took it from him as I gave him a hug.
"Where's Jackson?" he asked.
"I left him in his car, he should be coming soon. I have to get to class. Bye CoCo."
He gave me a kiss on the cheek as we walked in opposite directions.
*lunch*
I was the first one at our table as I slumped in my seat. I rested my head on the table as I let out a yawn.
"Princess, can you please tell me what's wrong?" Jackson asked.
I lifted my head and rubbed my eyes as Zach and Cody sat down with food.
"I just couldn't sleep last night, I don't know why. I tried but I just couldn't sleep" I explained softly.
Jackson kissed my forehead and stayed there for a few seconds before backing up slightly.
"You should have called me" he whispered.
"I didn't want to wake you, it was late" I shrugged.
Cody and Zach continued talking amongst themselves as I looked at Jackson.
I got up from my seat as he looked at me. I climbed on his lap and cuddled into him as he wrapped his arms around me.
"I almost forgot, I actually have to talk to uh Mr. V about the project" Cody mumbled.
He quickly left as we all looked confused.
"Well I don't want to third wheel so I'm going to prank Mr. Garrent" Zach said as he left quickly.
Jackson laughed as he rubbed my back softly making me even more tired. I wanted to tell him to stop but I couldn't, it just felt too good.
After a few minutes I was almost asleep before Jackson stopped rubbing my back making me pout.
"The bell is about to ring" he said softly.
I groaned and sat up slightly on his lap while rubbing my eyes.
"I can take you home if you want, we can skip" he said.
"No, I'll be ok" I mumbled.
I stood up from his lap as he handed me my bag and I rubbed my eyes.
"Are you sure? I can take you home."
"I'm sure."
The bell rang and he interlocked our fingers and I leaned against his arm as I saw a few people whisper.
"Ok, just text me and I'll take you home."
*after school*
I dragged my feet across the hall as I made my way towards the front entrance. I somehow gotten more tired from lunch until now. I can barley keep my eyes open.
"Princess, you are gonna fall over" Jackson laughed.
He scooped me up and I gladly leaned against his chest and yawned. I heard a few people talk about us, some even mentioned Megan. I seen her around the halls. She always smirks or glares at me.
"Baby you are so tired it's unbelievable" he chuckled.
I sent him a small smile as I shut my eyes.
I rested my eyes as I was in the car but I couldn't sleep.
I was soon picked up by Jackson as I snuggled into him.
"JJ?" I questioned softly.
"Yeah love?"
"Thank you for bringing me here and not my house" I said quietly.
"You're welcome" he whispered.
I smiled and we were soon cuddling on his bed as he rubbed my back again making me sleepier.
"I'll call your mom and tell her you are gonna spend the night at my house. I'll get your clothes for tomorrow when you're asleep" he explained softly.
"Thank you JJ."
