You haven't left your house. Your parents have kept you inside all your life because they wanted to protect you. You only leave your house once every 2 weeks but only in your fenced in backyard where your parents are watching your every move. But no...
"If you need anything call me, I won't be home until later tonight" mom said.
"Oh ok, and mom?"
"Yeah sweetheart?" she questioned.
"When is dad going to visit me? He called me last night but didn't mentioned coming anytime soon" I frowned.
"I am taking you out of school early on Friday to drive you to Virgina it's just the state over so we don't have to take a plane" she explained.
"How long is the drive?" I asked
"About 3 hours and 45 minutes" she said as she opened the door.
I just nodded and she waved to me again and rushed out the door.
How is that going to work? Getting out of school every once in a while to drive almost 4 hours away to see my dad? I haven't even left this town, now I'm going to a whole different state? I haven't even been out of the house much until I was 14!
Now everything is changing big time.
I sat on the couch in my elephant pajamas staring at the TV even though it wasn't on.

A knock interrupted me from my thoughts and I smiled knowing it was Jackson.
I unlocked the door and opened to see Jackson holding gummy worms.
"Hi baby" he said softly.
"Hi JJ" I beamed.
I hugged him and he kissed my forehead.
He walked in once we pulled away and I closed the door behind him.
"I bought you gummy worms just because" he said.
I smiled and grabbed the gummy worms out of his hands.
"I like your pajamas" he said.
I blushed and looked down at them.
"Thank you, my mom just bought me all types of new pajamas!"
He laughed and stared at me.
"You're adorable."
I blushed again and he grabbed my hand.
"Let's go watch some movies." - I yawned as I checked the time.
8:07.
On school nights I go to bed at about 8:45-9:00.
"I was thinking this weekend we could make a pillow fort on Friday and we can stay there all weekend long. I feel bad how dinner ended up last night" he said.
I was about to agree but I forgot I'm seeing my dad this weekend.
"I'm sorry JJ I can't" I said.
He pouted slightly and hugged me tightly.
"Come on baby please!" he begged like a child.
"I can't JJ! I haven't seen my dad and I'm seeing him this weekend" I sighed.
He pulled away from the hug slightly and rubbed my cheek.
He just stared at me and then kissed the tip of my nose.
"You're cute."
I blushed and laughed as I snuggled into him.
"At least you will get to hang out with Zachy and CoCo this weekend. I feel like I have been taking you away from them" I said with a slight pout.
"It's ok they understand. But yeah I'll probably do that and hang out with my mom too" he said.
I nodded and snuggled into him even more.
A yawn escaped my lips again and he brushed the hair out of my face.
"I need to head home" he said.
I pouted and tightened my arms around him.
"Please don't leave!" I whined.
"I'll be back tomorrow little one" he chuckled.
I still didn't let go and gave him my puppy dog eyes.
"Don't give me that face!"
I giggled and pecked his lips.
"Please stay" I pouted.
"I'll stay until you fall asleep" he sighed.
"Then I guess I won't fall asleep then."
His eyes flashed with amusement and laughed.
"Princess, you keep yawning. You will be asleep in like 5 minutes" he laughed.
"No I won't!" I glared.
He rested his hand on my cheek as he rubbed it softly.
"I bet you will" he challenged.
"I bet I won't!" I challenged back.
He won the bet. ——— Sorry I haven't updated in almost a week! This chapter is a bit short, I had a tiny bit of a writers block. But it will get interesting, just you wait😉 2-20-19
