All week I was so excited to go on my date with Jackson.
I told my mom Tuesday morning about it before she went to work and was so happy for me.
She said she would help me pick out an appropriate outfit for my date and help me apply makeup and do my hair. She also wanted me to get my nails done.
I didn't think it was all necessary for a date but she insisted we do it. Since she claims first dates only happen once with a special person.
And Jackson is really special to me.
So here I am driving back home with my mom as I had my nails done along with a bag with my outfit for tonight.

I told her I could just wear an outfit in my closet but she wanted to buy me something new.
"Are you excited?" she asked.
I nodded as we turned on our street.
"I'm nervous though, it's my first date" I said.
"I understand, I was the same way too don't worry it happens."
She parked the car in the driveway and I opened the door.
"Hurry up and shower, your hair is thick and it will take forever to do."
I nodded and immediately rushed inside to shower.
She finished doing my hair as I was watching Adventure Time.
I was already in my outfit and my makeup was done.
