Have you ever asked yourself these questions; Why am I in this state?... Is this what I want?... Do I deserve to be treated like this?... Am I not better than this? Listen, you shouldn't ever settle for something that is beneath your standard. If you are a person of a high standard, why are you allowing yourself to be treated like the worst? Why are you still in an uncomfortable relationship that only allows you to be miserable and unhappy. You should be treated with respect. Well, that is if you're giving it, to begin with, but if you know your worth, why aren't you showing it? Do not limit yourself to anyone's abhorrent standard just to please them. It doesn't matter if they are giving you the whole world. If they do not treat you with respect, then there's no need for them to be in your life. You are worth more than a one night stand. You are worth more than an abusive relationship. You are worth more than a cheating partner. You are worth more than a hypocritical friend. You are worth more than that! You won't get the recognition and respect you deserve unless you make your voice be heard. You should be able to stay true to your worth and self-integrity. The Bible said in proverbs 28:6, Better is a poor man who walks in his integrity than a rich man who is crooked in his ways. Do not be fooled by the material things that this world has to offer. Know your worth and stay true to your integrity. They will never know what they had right in front of them until it's gone; in the midst of your absence, then they will truly realize you worth to them. They threw away their treasures for trinkets without even knowing it. Wait for that person who will appreciate you for you. You should be treated like royalty. You should be treated with respect and integrity. God is love. He respects all that fears him, and in you, he should be seen.
