When I was writing this chapter, I didn't know exactly what I was going to write about. I laid on my bed not knowing what to really say, by I trusted God that he would guide my thoughts and give me the wisdom and knowledge to complete this chapter. I waited minutes and there still wasn't anything in mind. I started to talk to God asking him to give me a word; give me something that I could write about. The Bible said that we should trust in the Lord with all of our hearts, and lean not unto our own understandings, but in all of our ways we should acknowledge him and he will surely direct our path. When you learn to trust God and allow him to take control of the things you do, then all your worries and frustrations would go away. After waiting there in my room for over 15 minutes for a word from God, he reminded me with a scripture in Psalm 37:5, Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass. At that very moment, I knew exactly what I should write about. When we learn to trust God and be patient in his midst, then whatever seem so hard to figure out would hit us the minute we commit ourselves fully to him. We often let our own thoughts and emotions rule us and tells us what to do and how to go about doing them, but if you are not guided by the word of God, problem and all sort of frustration will start to occur in your life. When you learn to trust God, no matter how great the situation may look, no matter how hilarious it may sound, you will feel comfortable that everything will be taken care of. The Bible said in 2 Samuel 22:31, As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all them that trust in him. The word buckler means shield. It's a form of protection, so when we learn to trust him, not only will he direct our path, but he shall surely deliver us from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. Put your trust in God. No matter how bad the situation is, He's a God of the impossibles that will never put us into situations that he knows we cannot bare; so let us start trust in him today, and allow him to direct your path.
