Maely knocked on Calum and Luke's door at 6 in the morning.
Calum answered sleepily, Luke groaning and covering his head in the background. Calum's eyes lit up a bit. "Goodmorning, Maely." he said quietly.
Calum closed the door behind him.
Maely took his hand fearlessly and led him downstairs and out the door.
"Uh...where are we going..?" he asked cautiously.
Maely smiled and leaned against him, like she always does. Calum couldn't help but blush slightly.
"On our walk." Maely said.
"Oh yeah." Calum said, even though he had no clue what was happening.
Halfway to the koi pond, Calum spoke up again.
"Maely, I want to apologize for leaving you yesterday. Especially because I got totally wasted. I can't really remeber what your like, and what our relationship's like. C-could you...I don't know...tell me everything all over again?" Calum really hoped this would work.
Maely nodded, "Sure."
She didn't know what "wasted" meant, but she would do anything for him.
She explained everything as they sat down on the stone bench. Calum nodded the whole way and finally realized: he liked her.
He wanted to try something.
He leaned over and kissed her on the forehead, "Thanks Maels."
She didn't react towards the kiss, so he knew it was ok.
Maely got up suddenly, putting a quarter in the machine. He smiled as she shared the fish food. Calum knelt next to her at the pond.
She was awfully romantic and she didn't even realize it.
When the two were done, they say back on the bench and chatted. Maely looked up at Calum and studied every feature on his handsome face.
"This is new." she said, running her fingers through his blonde highlights.
He stiffened a bit at her touch, blushing slightly. He nodded his head a little.
"Maely," Calum said after a comfortable silence. She looked up into his eyes and he looked down to hers. "Do you love me? Like, love love me?"
Maely smiled, her eyes crinkling a bit. "Of course I do, Calum. I love you more than anything."
Those words were music to Calum's ears. He sighed happily and leaned against her.
