"Kenna, Daniel" Christina said "so I framed the scan of the two" she held up a frame with just the scan "so what's going to happened is this is going to be sat outside next to the patio doors and as people sign their name in either blue or pink depending which gender they think the baby is"
"So this is just for the guessing?" Daniel asked
"Yeah and out here" we followed her to the back "these two boxes hanging, one represents a baby and it will have blue or pink and then there's food"
"Can we sign now what we think the genders are?" I asked
"Yeah" she said handing us marker
"Caden!" Soon he came running out "want to write your name in the colour you think your siblings are going to be"
"Yeah" he put his hands on my stomach "hand me the pink" he smiled
He took the pen out of Daniels hand removing the lid, slowly wrote his name 'cade' I'm very squiggly hand writing
"I learnt how to write my name in school!" He cheered
"You missed the 'n'" Daniels said
"I know dad but I want the babies to call me cade for short, Caden will be a mouth full for them" he smiled
Daniel wrote his name in half blue and half pink. I wrote my name in pink
"Pass the pink" Corbyn smiled writing his name
"Blue pen please?" Chris asked taking it into her hand
"Hello" Amanda said opening the gate that we had built so the kids didn't have to go near the main road
"Caden!" Jessica screamed hugging him
"Hey Kenna" Jake waved
"Hey mate" I roughed his hair up
"Every time" he groaned
"Simon won't be able to make it as he's working but he said to write his name in pink" she said leaning in to hug me
"What colour do I put for aliens?" Jordan asked looking at the frame with my mom and Ashley
"They're not aliens" my mom smacked him round the head
"Are you sure?" He asked "look at her" I stuck my tongue out
"Just write your name in the colour" my mom begged "Hey" she came and hugged me after she wrote her name down
"Hi" I smiled
"How are you" I nodded my head
"Yeah, I'm good" I gasped grabbing my moms hand placing it on my stomach
"They're kicking!" She squealed "have they done it before?"
"Yeah" she removed her hand "they tend to kick every time daniel talks or sings"
"They're gonna be daddy's girls or boys" she laughed "just like Caden is a mommy's boy"
"I'm glad he's going to experience it with me" we looked over to Daniel seeing him laugh at something jack said, he quickly glanced at us then back at jack then back to us. He smiled waving
"That reminds me When is the wedding?" She asked
"After the twins"
"You should go talk to other people" she gushed to the garden full of guests
"Hey Kenna" I looked down to see Timmy
"Hey, whatcha doing?" I asked
"I was waiting to see you" he smiled
"Okay, have you wrote your name?" He nodded "what do you think they are?"
"I have to say boys 'cause I want them to be" I laughed
"I put girls"
"Why?" He asked sitting next to me on the steps
"Because it feels different this time not like it was with Caden" I looked down at him
"Different that doesn't make sense" he laughed
"Nothing makes sense" he nodded in agreement
"Bye Kenna!" The eight year old waved at me running to Caden and Jess
Christina started clearing her throat through the microphone
"Daniel, Mackenna stand under the two black boxes" we obeyed her
"Hey" Daniel whispered as Christina explained what was about to happen to the guests
"Hi"
"You ready for this?" He asked
"Damn right I am, in tired of waiting" I whispered back
"So with out further of do, please reveal the gender" Christina smiled at us
"Wait" I said "the same time or different times?"
"I just explained, we're you not listening?" She asked
"In fact we weren't" Daniel said
"At the same time asshats" she stated
"Okay" Daniel and I said at the same time
"3, 2, 1" everyone counted down
Daniel and I pulled the strings to both black boxes hanging on the trees. We both got covered in pink glitter
"We're having girls!" Daniel hugged me attacking my face in kisses "I love you so much" he smiled at me and in that moment it felt like no one was there besides us two
"I love you so much more" I kissed him
