"aj! ollie! ryder!" i shouted up the stairs "come on! we're already late and we have to still pick caden up!"

"do we have to go?" ryder complained once he reached the bottom of the stairs putting his headphones around his neck

"ry, uncle z going to be there" ollie protested

"and uncle jay?" he asked, his eyes lighting up

"yes, uncle zach and uncle jack will be there" i confirmed to him "aj! come on!"

"i'm coming!" she shouted back

"why do we have to pick caden up? he can drive" ollie asked once we reached the car

"because he asked us to"

once reaching caden, aj moved to the back putting ryder in the middle

"hey mom" caden said opening the car door "where's dad?"

"he is already at jonah's, the boys were helping setting up for tate his girlfriend" aj answered for me

"where's mason?" ry asked caden

"he's at home" the answer cause ryder to pout  "i'm sorry dude"

"its okay" he smiled

"dad!" ryder shouted making his way to daniel

"hi, you alright?" daniel asked hoisting him onto his hip, the older four boys smiling sweetly understanding ryders autism being only fourteen

"yep" he nuzzled his head into danny's neck

"alaska! olivia!" nova came through the door

"nova!" aj mocked back

"no caden?" cade pouted

"shut up, you big baby" she pushed him "where's mason?" she asked

"don't know, haven't seen him"

"no! you're joking right?" edith' eyes widened

"yes i'm joking" he rolled his eyes "he's at home, i swear the besson sisters are dumb"

the besson sisters being sixteen and fifthteen

"hey!" corbyn shouted "my daughters are not dumb, i may be forty but i can still whoop your ass!"

"and i can whoop yours!"

"hey, where's annie?" i asked zach, he smiled at the thought of his only daughter.

he didn't find a significant other after may but he definitely found a new love as soon as he held his daughter for the first time

"i've got to pick her up now, so you'll see her" he waved headed out the door

"gabble and lav are on there way!" jack shouted through the house

"oscar! lilly! come down!" jonah shouted up the stairs, soon hearing little foot steps coming

"yes dad?" ten year old oscar asked, lily being twelve

"the barbecue is about to start, that's all" oscar smiled sweetly before heading out the back

"who decided to have all these kids?" chris asked, i shrugged "you started it! if i had never fell in love with caden, i would of never asked corbyn for a baby"

"you had the baby after six years?" jack asked

"so? maybe i wanted to make a baby without the baby" she stated, earning a look of grimace from jack

we all moved out the back once everyone had arrived, i lead on one of the sofas soon having caden curl up to me

"big baby, how old are you?" i said earning a scoff

"can't help i'm a mama' boy and twenty two" he sighed

"where's mase?" daniel asked moving caden and i legs out the way

"at home" he mumbled "why do i keep getting asked?"

"cause maybe i want to see my grandson" daniel stuck his tongue out

"give him a break, he's barley three months old" caden laughed

"dad?"

"yes ollie"

"ryders crying in the kitchen, i think it's from where he woke up alone" she explained curling up next to caden after i moved

daniel and i made are way to the kitchen to find ryder on the floor hyperventilating

"baby" i picked him up

"i couldn't-" he struggled to from a sentence

"baby you need to calm down before you pass out" i soothed his head "is your head ticking?" he nodded "can you get his headphones?" i asked danny pointed to my bag "i'm going to place you on the side" ryder gripped my shirt tighter

"don't!" he shouted

"daddy needs to give you your drink, then i'll pick you back up" he slowly nodded his head as he allowed me to place him down.

daniel firstly placed ryders sound proof headphones on his head knowing that the unfamiliar sounds would of caused him to panic more

"head back" daniel ordered, holding the water bottle up allowing ryder to swallow

ryder instantly held his arms back out to me, i accepted

"i woke up and i couldn't find either of you two" he gripped tighter "i could hear everything"

"it's okay, it's our fault, we left you on the sofa as it's cold outside" i replied, he nodded. even though he couldn't hear us, he has always been good at lip reading and understanding

we moved out side, taking a seat back next to caden

"don't let go, please" ryder whispered

"i'm not going to" i smiled soon having caden curled up in my side and the twins next to daniel

not long after ryder was back asleep as everyone was chatting

"isn't it meant to get better?" jonah asked, i nodded

"he can't get better" daniel sighed

"he's extremely smart, obsessed with nature" caden smiled

"hey caden?" jack got a hum back "where's mason?" he teased

"i actually hate you all, no doubt about it" he glared at jack who was sat across from him

"i never liked you anyway" zach jokingly said "hey!" he yelp as a pillow through at his head

"i'm glad i've had you lot all my life" caden admitted

"yuck!" i said "don't get sappy" i laughed kissing his head

"oh fuck off" caden said causing everyone to laugh
