*bzzz bzzz* went the sound of caseys phone. which I had set to vibrate for the alarm. I jumped out of bed, competed with the toilet bowl before taking a shower. Once dressed in a pair of comfortable blazing red jeans and a black long sleeved top. I straightened my hair, brushed my teeth, applied my makeup and put on my ugg boots.
"Lily sweetie, wake up" I say softly stroking her long black hair. She began to stir so I started to take out her days attire, I put out a pair of White tights, a denim skirt and a grey pullover. I knocked on Jacks bedroom before entering to find him ready and watching tv.
"morning, go get some breakfast we'll be down in a bit, just have to dress Lils up" I say to him feeling chirpy, he nods and grabs his timberlakes eyes still fixed on the tv.
When I re enter the room to my surprise casey is already up and washing Lily's face. I have no doubt in my mind that he would be an amazing father. I go over and take over as he goes for a shower. I get lily dressed and grab her grey boots and zip her little legs in.
"honey, we are going for breakfast, don't take too long" I yell over the sound of the shower.
I carry Lily down the stairs,she's still tired so settles her head on my neck. Once we enter the kitchen, I grab her sippy cup from the dishwasher and fill it with some cooled tea all the meanwhile I'm still holding her. I sit her on the high chair that once belonged to Lucy and give her the cup. she rubs her eyes but begins taking her tea whilst I set her a plate of blueberries and strawberries and cut up her eggs and toast. I placed it on her little table and proceeded with my morning coffee. Just as I poured my coffee casey walked in and I poured him a cup too. Jack was at the head of the table crunching down on some toast and coco pops. Both I and casey discussed our plans for the day whilst we ate our cooked breakfast. Lily finished her plate of fruits but began struggling with her toast, so she just ate her eggs. Once she felt full she set her arms up ready to be set free. Casey picked her up and let her run to find Lucy who was in the games room. I put the dishes in the washer and i ran to brush my teeth and grabbed Lily on the way to do hers.
Once we were ready we all climbed into my car and I strapped Lily in just as casey turned the engine on. We dropped Jack off and he ran like a shot. Next was lily, once we approached I noticed coopers mum dropping off her son. casey stayed in the car as I unstrapped lily and took her to meet cooper.
"morning mrs. Reid" I said greeting her in friendly hug
" well don't you look radiant Dana, need to dash, will you drop cooper tonight again?" she asked
"sure, see you later" I waved as her car pulled away. I kissed both cooper and lily on cheeks before letting them run wild. I handed Lily's bag to the helper and ran to my car.
The car journey to school was short so we had a mini catch up re-caping what we may have missed in the previous day. Once we parked the car, we held hands just to be greeted with various pictures of the missing pregnancy test with headings such as 'who's the baby daddy?' 'new cheerleading captain needed' 'not careful enough were you Dana?- SKANK" I could feel thousands of eyes staring at me and gossiping, casey pulled me close and kissed me after whispering "I'm here all the way" I smiled at him and headed to my locker, yet more posters were stuck on my locker, I left them there, I don't care who knows I'm pregnant I'm proud of my baby and I want everyone to know, another thing was, I finished high school in 2 weeks and I would probably never see these people again.
" is it true?!" my best friends asked in unison jumping up and down, I looked at casey and he nodded at them. They began to squeal and hug us.
"how far along are you?" "do you know if it's a boy or a girl"
They started asking "11weeks and 5 days, and no not yet" I began to answer one of their many questions.
At lunch we got yet more stares, well one was because of my pregnancy and the other because we spent of the time making out.
"gross, casey take that SKANK and give her a bath" jade yelled from across the hall. I could feel the anger in casey rising so I squeezed his hand letting him know I was fine.
"you both need help" she yelled again this time casey lost it, he pushed his lunch off the table and walked towards Jades table where I began to follow.
" your messed in the head jade, better see a psychiatrist before you get even more messed up than you are, and on the point of our relationship; I never actually loved you, you were more like bait on a fishline, I'd preferred to date medusa than you and damn is this a lucky escape, I have the most gorgeous girlfriend and a baby on the way and not even you can tear apart my happiness- I'm in love with Dana and one day I promise you; I will marry her" he exclaimed before taking my hand and escorting me back to the corridor.
" what did you just say" I asked smiling
"That your gorgeous and I'm excited to be a daddy" he says looking me in the eye
"no after that" i say slinging my hands round his neck and moving my lips towards his until they are a centimetre away from touching.
" I'm in love with you, and I will marry you one day" he says sending shivers through me with every word
"thats what I thought" I say closing the gap between our lips.
After that the day began to speed up- I was happy and so were my nearest and dearest.
