After getting back from the hospital. Both casey and shared a steamy hot shower and I got into my nightie and Casey his boxers before we cuddled up for a few hours of much needed sleep.
"Dana..Dana.." lily whispered
"yes sweetie" I said grabbing her and pulling her on the bed next to me and she began to giggle.
"what's up?" I asked
"Mom calling us to eat" she muttered playing with her bracelet
"why did you call her mom sweetie?" I asked with a smile
"because, we live here and that's what Lucy calls her" she explained, I began to giggle.
"tell mom, that we'll be down in two minutes" I instructed her
I turned to face an already awake casey.
"did you hear that?" I smiled
"what? Mom?" he began to chuckle. I nodded.
"yeah, and she practically is"casey smiled.
We got out of bed and got dressed in our seasonal outfits which for me were a pair of black thermal leggings, and a red and green Rudolph pullover which emphasised my bump. Casey wore black jeans and a green cashmere jumper with elf ears and shoes.
When we got to the bottom of the stairs casey pulled me in for a passionate kiss. I had just noticed the mistletoe above us.
"get a room elfie" caseys dad shouted from the study where he was getting dressed as Santa for the girls and began to chuckle.
"Santa, you know I never get to meet many hot, pregnant chicks at the south pole let alone be engaged to one" casey smiled before giving me a peck and going to help his dad get into costume. It seemed like today would be a giggly day for me.
"collete, do you need any help?" I asked starting her.
"sure, could you please take the corn out of the grill?" she answered
I did as she asked.
" collete?" I called
"yes hun?" she called re appearing from the cellar holding three bottles of wine.
"did you know lily calls you mom?"
"yeah, I kinda like it actually because let's face it in less than two months we will be family and you'll be my daughter in law" she smiled
"I know I can't wait for the wedding either, there's something we wanted to ask you- would you mind being in-charge of catering? It's just that you used to be a chef and all.." I asked
" I would be delighted" she replied.
We began talking about good canapes and deserts
