Truly Charmed (Part 3/3)

Chapter 10

I dropped Payton's boyfriend off at his house and then drove back to the manor. Payton was sleeping over tonight to keep Melinda company.

The whole ride home Melinda and Payton were laughing about my little accident with Jeremy. It was great to see Melinda laughing at the boy instead of crying over him.

When I finally pulled up in front of the house, Melinda and Payton ran through the front door and went straight upstairs.

I dragged my feet up the steps and then closed the manor door.

I was absolutely exhausted. Today had been one of the days that will lead to a future frown line on my forehead. I collapsed on the sofa and turned on the TV.

My relaxation was interrupted when I heard a bunch of footsteps coming down the stairs. I peered over the back of the sofa and saw Wyatt and Pandora coming down the stairs.

"Pandora? Why are you here?" I asked getting up.

"My parents were annoying me. So I left." She smiled.

Wyatt looked me over and his mouth formed a confused line.

"I went on a date." I told them.

They're faces widened.

Crap. Wrong words...

"Well I didn't exactly go on a date. I kind of crashed one. I sat on my own at my own table. Melinda was-"

"Don't worry." Wyatt put his hand up and laughed to himself.

I assumed he knew what happened tonight. Melinda probably told him or he's just that good at guessing.

"Where are you guys going?" I asked.

"We're gonna catch the midnight screening of the horror movie 'Bloodlines'." Pandora explained.

Do you want to come?...

I heard Wyatt's voice say in my head.

Uh I'm not sure..I don't want to intrude on anything. Plus I've had a busy day...

I thought back to him.

Chris is asleep...

I heard his voice smile.

I considered the situation for a moment. I haven't spent any time with Wyatt recently. Partly because I was in another state.

Yeah, sure why not?...

I sent the thought to him.

His face formed a gleaming smile.

"Can I go get changed out of this dress?" I asked him.

"Uh yeah. We got plenty of time." Wyatt said.

I half smiled and then walked past them and headed upstairs...

I got changed out of my dress and put on blue jeans, my black converses and my Rolling Stones T-shirt. It wasn't that cold out tonight but I grabbed my black jacket incase it began to rain.

I skipped down the stairs and found Wyatt and Pandora waiting at the bottom of the stairs where I left them.

"Ready." I smiled.

Wyatt went to take ahold of my hand.

We're orbing....

He said in my thoughts.

If it wasn't for his thought I would've pulled my hand away when he took ahold of it.

The airy light feeling of being orbed filled me up and I couldn't help but give a smile. When I opened my eyes I was in the alley around the side of the cinema.....
