When we got back to the manor midnight was weighning on me. Chris had Melinda half asleep in his arms, Wyatt had Pandora slung over his shoulder and I was propping up Ed with all my strength. We had already orbed the twins and Henry home while Payton and Patty beamed home by themselves. They had told us to keep Pandora with us for the night so their parents wouldn't kill her in the morning.

Wyatt and Chris began to march upstairs.

Stick Pandora in my room, she can stay there tonight....

I told Wyatt through my thoughts.

Where will you sleep?....

He thought back.

I'll take the sofa down here....

I replied.

No. You can stay in my room tonight. With me....

I nodded in agreement. They both continued up the stairs until I couldn't hear the faint sound of their feet on the wooden floor.

Readying myself for the challenge, I readjusted Ed's arm around my neck and began to drag him up the stairs. I had to quickly move up the staircase to get out of my costume and into the dress Wyatt had gotten for me in time. Midnight was only fifteen minutes away....

I quietly slipped into the perfectly fitted royal blue dress whilst Pandora and Ed snored furiously next to me. I grabbed my black sneakers and put them on my feet. Not the type of shoes a normal person would wear with this kind of dress but I'm not a normal person.

I redid my hair, letting the long curls free around my face. I put on some new makeup and the charm bracelet Chris had gotten me. I dusted myself down and gave myself an overview in the mirror. With a weary but determined to be happy smile, I turned on my heels and strode downstairs.

--------------------------------------------

I came to the bottom of the stairs with my heart pounding out of my chest. The front door was wide open and the autumn night wind blew through the manor, whipping my hair gently. The grandfather clock struck midnight.
At that cue I slowly began to walk towards the front door.

When I was standing out in the porch I waited for Wyatt to turn up. As if by reading my mind, he came around the corner of the manor smiling. He was dressed in dark jeans, a white shirt and suit jacket. His right hand was tucked in his pocket while his left hand had a red rose perched in it.

I felt my cheeks flush.

"You still think its the best birthday ever?" He grinned, coming up the steps and then standing in front of me.

"Getting better every second," I answered with a wide smile.

His right hand slowly came up to my fave and gently smoothed the skin on my cheek.

Close you're eyes...

His warm and delicate voice whispered in my head. I did as he said and closed them, feeling completely safe with him.

I felt light and airy. He was orbing us somewhere.

"You can open them now," he said.

When my eyes opened my heart skipped a beat. We were on a grassy cliff top, with perfect view of the San Francisco bridge. Hung in the trees around us were small fairy lights and candles that illuminated the area with such peace and gentleness it looked like a magical forest.

Between the candles and lights were colourful flowers like lilies, blossoms and roses. Then in the middle of this magical meadow, lay a blanket on the soft grass and a picnic basket with champagne and chocolate covered strawberries inside. It was so beautiful that a tear fell from my right eye.

I turned to Wyatt and stared up into the mass of blue ocean that formed his eyes.

"It now is the best birthday ever,"
