"Chris put the knife down," I spoke softly.

He pressed it harder into my throat. I felt a drop of blood trickle down my skin.

"Don't you remember? I do. I remember everything. I remember loving you, I remember choosing you when you were all beaten up in that cage in Camelot. I remember you coming to save me when I was possessed by an evil witch. I remember it all," I told him, a tear coming down my face.

"I don't love you anymore. I'm married. I love her," Chris answered me in a robotic way.

"Chris," I whispered, "don't you remember the time that we ran away together? And we were staying in small, grubby motels with no heating or electricity. But none of that mattered because we had each other? Don't you remember waking up to me every morning for that whole month?"

I saw a part of him flinch.

Keep going...he's remembering...

"Do you remember that time that I was walking out of the kitchen and I tripped and you caught me? Do you remember me wrapped in your arms, safe and secure? Do you remember the time you fought with me against those bikers after one of them slapped me? Remember holding my bruised cheek in your hand?" I told him.

He still had the knife pointed at my throat but it was shaking as he was trying his best to keep it up there. I saw tears rimming his piercing green eyes. I was getting through.

"Do you remember when I was trying to figure out how to access my powers? And you stood inches away from me, breathing down my neck, sending chills down my spine and my heart racing. Do you not remember touching my skin, caressing my cheeks and kissing me like nobody had kissed me before," I had tears rolling down my face.

I could see it was becoming harder and harder for him to resist putting the knife down. I had gradually moved closer to him, the knife retracting back with every step I took.

"Do you remember being this close to me? Feeling the heat radiate off my body and onto yours? Do you remember my touch? Do you remember feeling my ice cold skin as I died on the floor of the manor in front of you?" I asked as I gently ran my trembling finger up his arm.

There was one more thing I had to say to him. If that couldn't get through to him, then I've lost him forever.

"Chris," a small, broken voice came out, "do you remember the first time I said I loved you."

His tears were coming out of his eyes like waterfalls, his hand turning purple with the amount of strain he was putting in holding it up.

I placed my hand on his. I slowly lowered the knife down from my throat. I let my forehead drop against his.

"Remember I love you. Please remember..." I whispered to myself.

With instinct I tipped my head up and kissed him. I had waited what seemed like forever to kiss him. To feel his soft lips against mine. I could taste the saltiness of both our tears on our mouths and I could feel his cheek moist with the wet.

A sudden flash of images blew through my mind. I felt like my brain was going to explode, my chest blowing up with the amount of emotion building up inside. Chris could feel the same too as we both hitched as the images of the two of us whizzed through our heads like a movie reel.

We broke off at the same time. When I opened my eyes and looked into his, I knew.

He remembers..

"Anna..." His shaky broken voice said.

I nodded with a gleaming smile.

"Yes it's me," I glowed.

Chris' hands came up to my face, cupping them so he knew I was real. He smoothed my hair and frantically gazed into my eyes.

"I love you. I love you so much. I love you unconditionally, uncontrollably, unbearably and to the stars and back I love you," he repeated.

To the stars and back.....

"NO!!!" A ferocious voice boomed.

I turned around and saw Jamie darting towards the pair of us, an athame yielded in his grip.

I looked to my left and saw a silver arrow, stained with blood on the altar.

"Chris the arrow!" I shouted.

Chris saw the arrow I was pointing at and thrust his hand toward it. He then pointed his hand in Jamie's direction and the arrow obeyed. It soared through the air before plunging into Jamie's torso. Jamie crippled to the floor, the darklighter poison burning his insides.

Chris walked over to him and towered over him.

"Karma's a bitch. Especially when that bitch is me,"
