Truly Charmed (Part 3/3)

Chapter 31

After finally getting a costume we all decided to head home. We couldn't go out to get food because we had to get everything in P3 ready. I put my costume on my bed, next to Wyatt's birthday present.

I then came back downstairs to find everyone carrying boxes with streamers and ghosts and all Halloween decorations.

"What am I carrying?" I asked.

"You can grab that box," Chris answered me, pointing to a box on the table.

I did as he said and picked up the box. Wyatt came into the dining room and smiled when he saw me.

"Put that down, Melinda can take that. You can help me carry the pumpkins," he grinned.

I suddenly put the box on the floor and headed to the kitchen with Wyatt.

When we came in, the whole kitchen counter was filled with huge, round orange pumpkins.

"How the hell are we going to carry all of those?" I wondered out loud.

"We just have to hold them. We're orbing everything to P3," he laughed.

Oh. That's fine with me.....

I walked over to the counter and tried to touch nearly every pumpkin possible. I then took Wyatt's hand in mine and he orbed us to P3.

When we appeared in P3 the pumpkins fell to floor. Suddenly they froze in the air.

"Damn it Wyatt, we have to keep the pumpkins whole, not in pieces," I heard Piper shout.

She came out from one of the back rooms.

"Sorry Mom," Wyatt raised his shoulders in defence.

Piper came up to us and took one of the frozen pumpkins from the air. I took one that was in front of me and Wyatt wrapped two under his arm.

We placed them on the bar. Piper turned to us with a smile on her face.

"Let's get this show on the road,"

It had been a few hours since we arrived at P3. Chris, Melinda, Pandora and her sisters and Henry Jr and his sisters had also arrived with everything for tonight in boxes.

I was sat at the bar, with a knife in my hand, carving faces into the many pumpkins that were lined up for me.

"So exactly how many people are coming tonight?" Henry asked Pandora, putting down a box of fake cobwebs and spiders.

"Well.." Pandora began in a high tone.

"Pandora," Wyatt warned, "how many people have you invited?"

"Pretty much everyone I know in Magic School," she said quietly.

"Pandora!" We all shouted at the same time.

"I'm sorry okay! I mean I doubt many people would've come if we just invited Anna's friends, no offence," She defended herself.

"Offence taken," I laughed.

"Look I just thought that we shouldn't be doing all of this for about fifteen people to come. Besides I know all the people in magic school want to have a good time, to blow off steam from their finals," Pandora explained to us all.

Fantastic. Not only am I having a party that I didn't want in the first place, I now have a party that will be filled with ogres, fairies, shapeshifters and conjurers.

"It doesn't matter how many people are coming. As long as magic isn't exposed and Anna has a good time that's all that matters," Piper told us all with a warm smile.

I smiled back at her, half appreciation, half embarrassment.

"Speaking of the number of people, considering how many are coming, shouldn't we get to work?" Melinda suggested to everyone.

"Yes," I said letting out a determined sigh, "lets get this place ready for my party."
