"WHAT?!" Everyone screamed at me.
"I want to bring back Barbas," I repeated myself.
"Are you insane?! Do you know how much trouble Barbas has caused us in our lives?! He's tried to kill us on more than three occasions!" Phoebe yelled at me.
"He's the demon of fear! He can't be trusted! He'll come after us the first chance he gets!" Piper throttled.
"Anna, what made you think of Barbas? None of us have told you about him," Chris asked me calmly.
"It's hard for you guys to understand but when I was in the ghostly plane, alone and on the verge of dying for the second time, Barbas helped me. He helped me reach you guys so you could bring me back," I explained to everyone.
"He must have manipulated this. There is no way in hell that Barbas just does good things for lost spirits without wanting something in return," Chris said.
"Manipulated? He probably reached out from the other side and forced Jamie and the darklighter to kill Anna, so he could dig his way into her brain and make her want to bring him back!" Wyatt exclaimed.
"Wait a minute, where is Jamie?" Melinda asked us.
Her eyebrows were raised with suspicion.
"Dying on some cold hard floor alone somewhere," I spat.
The Tribunal exchanged looks, debating on something. Without any warning they conjured Jamie.
He appeared on the floor, crumpled and sweaty, the darklighter poison slowly killing him. I went to lunge for him but Chris grabbed my wrist and hauled me back.
"Why did you bring him here?" I snarled.
"So we can see if he is being manipulated by Barbas," a head answered.
Jamie looked up at the Tribunal.
"Barbas? He's dead, how can be manipulating me? This is whole plan was my idea," Jamie's small dying voice croaked.
He said it as if he was giving himself credit for coming up with such a malicious, back stabbing plan.
"We shall see," a head simply said.
Jamie started coughing and he rolled over onto his back. His hand touched the Circle of Truth and a hologram came up. It showed him, the darklighter and some other magic folk planning my demise and Chris' abduction. But Barbas was nowhere to be seen. Not in a mirror, not in spirit, not conjured in any crystal ball or bowl of water.
"That proves it. Barbas has no in involvement with this plan. He can be brought back with his name clear," A head told us.
"You can't be serious! He's going to try and kill us when he gets back! He always does!" Phoebe shouted at the Tribunal.
"Don't worry. He's only going to be coming back if he swears to leave us and future generations alone," I reassured Phoebe.
I could tell that everyone wasn't happy with my decision. But I didn't care who I was bringing back. As long as I could come back and live my life with Chris, then I'd bring Lucifer himself with me.
"It is settled. Barbas will return, his life balanced with Anna's resurrection," one head announced.
I suddenly felt like I was being pushed at a great force. My chest felt like it was going to shatter. Above us all, a glowing ball floated its way down towards me. When it reached me it entered my chest. A pulse of electricity surged through my body. My skin flushed with warmth, my heart beating faster. I felt alive. Awake. I felt like I could spit fire and leap across mountains. I felt warm and full. Not cold and empty like before. I felt as if I was actually there. Standing on the actual floor.
