When we got back from the movie the manor was empty, Pandora had gone home and it was just Wyatt and I in the desolate house. The lights were off and everyone inside was fast asleep upstairs. We both crept through the house to make sure we didn't wake anyone.

"Are you going to go to bed?" Wyatt asked me in a whisper.

He turned on the lamp in the living room and took off his coat.

"I doubt I will be able to sleep for the rest of my life after that film." I said grimly.

Wyatt laughed.

I took off my jacket and dropped myself on the sofa. Wyatt came beside me and sat down next to me.

"It's strange isn't it?" I said aloud.

"What is?" Wyatt asked.

"Everyone in that theatre watched that film tonight just expecting it to be a film. We know what's actually out there. The evil that roams the streets. They didn't even second guess that it could be real.." I told him.

"Aren't we the lucky ones." He joked.

I yawned as a sign of my tiredness.

"Why don't you go to sleep?" Wyatt told me.

"Because I don't want that freaky poltergeist to come after me in my sleep." I answered.

"Anna you've barbecued demons much more scary than that thing." Wyatt said.

"Yes and I will barbecue that thing if it as so much as dare to come near my bed tonight." I said.

Wyatt chuckled.

"Why don't we watch some tv to take you're mine off of it?" He offered picking up the remote.

He turned on the tv and some late night show was on the screen. I lay my head back and slowly sank into the sofa. It wasn't long before I could feel my eyes beginning to weigh down and I calmly dropped off into a deep sleep.....

CHRIS' POV

I woke up the next morning with my sheets all entwined in my body. My shirt was on the floor next to my bed; so I awoke with my chest on show. I looked across the room to find that Wyatt wasn't in his bed. I got up, trying not to let my mind think of any unpleasant reasons why he wasn't there.

I decided to go to Anna's room and jump into her bed to wake her up. I imagined her fast asleep on her pillow, her long, curly brown hair gently resting against the fabric. Her body gracefully tangled in her sheets and the soft sound of her breathing.

I came to her bedroom door and knocked gently. I then peered inside and found that she wasn't in her bed either.

Was she up already?

I looked down at my watch and it read 9:05 am. She'd never be awake this early in the morning. I heard movement downstairs so I orbed into the kitchen.

When I appeared in the kitchen only my dad and Melinda were there. They saw me and exchanged weary looks.

"Have you guys seen Anna?" I asked immediately.

They glanced back and forth from each other with an unsure expressions on their faces.

"She's in the living room." My dad answered.

I turned on my feet and headed out of the kitchen.

"Chris wait!" I heard Melinda shout out to me.

I ignored her and carried on.

--------------------------------------------

When I got to the living room and saw where she was; how she was and who she was with, I realised why my family were so anxious.

She was peacefully asleep, her head resting against a pillow on Wyatt's torso. His arm was wrapped around her and his head was dropped back. Her body was enclosed in his arms and her leg was dangling over his. They both breathed in unison.

I couldn't say that I was happy about it. Because I wasn't. But I couldn't make a big deal about it either. It did hurt seeing her in his arms and not mine but I had to deal with it. He loved her just as much as I did. And everyone knew it.

One point to you brother.....

ANNA'S POV

When I opened my eyes I almost had a heart attack. Chris was standing in front of me, staring down. As soon as I flinched Wyatt woke up. I slowly got up off of Wyatt and rubbed my eyes.

"Chris.." I began yawning." What are you doing?"

"I wanted to see what you want for breakfast." He replied but there was no morning chipper in his voice.

It was more of a "how dare you" tone and he had the matching eyes to go with it.

"Sorry I didn't come up to bed, I kind of..dropped off.." Wyatt said to Chris.

Chris just quickly glanced at Wyatt but then he averted his eyes. Wyatt and I exchanged looks and then I turned my attention to Chris. I knew it needed to change the subject or get out of the living room with all this tension. So I made a quickly decision to get us all in the kitchen.

"What's for breakfast?"
