Truth or Dare

(Y/n)'s POV

I shouldn't have agreed to play this. I really should've known better to not pick dare when it's Bayonetta.

A little while ago....

We all decided to have sleepover at Luigi's mansion. The boys were playing video games with each other while the girls and I were playing a very intense game of uno. "Ugh again I lost against (Y/n)!" I saw Daisy yell out of frustration while slamming her cards down on to the table. All of us laughed at how worked up she got. "I have an idea, let's go ask the boys to play a game of truth or dare with us." Bayonetta suggested with evil look on her face that we missed.

"That's a good idea because one more game of uno might make Daisy go on a rampage," I said jokingly making everyone laugh. Bayonetta went over to the boys and asked them if they wanna play truth or dare with us and they agreed. All of us sat down in a circle, but the girls purposely made sure that I would be sitting next my crush, Marth. My face started to heat up when he sat down next to me. "Okay, so who wants to go first?" Bayonetta asked the whole group.

"I'll go first I guess," Zelda volunteered with uncertainty. "Alright, then truth or dare?" Bayonetta said with a mischievous look on her face. Zelda ignored the fact that she was plotting something and said,"Dare," which just signed her death sentence. "Alright, I dare you to kiss your crush for 1 minute," she said causing Zelda's face to fire up into a bright shade of red. "U-Uh what if we don't want to do the dare or truth?" She asked nervously.

"Then you'll get a penalty that is more worse than what your dare or truth was," She calmly explained to Zelda like it wasn't something to worry about. I saw Zelda start to sweat from her nervousness if she turns down the dare. "So, are you gonna do the dare or do you want a pe-," before Bayonetta could finish her sentence Zelda jumped in and said,"NO! I mean I'll do the dare," She said her face flushed with red. Zelda got up and made her way over to where Link was sitting.

It was his turn to turn into a tomato when Zelda cupped his face and placed her lips on his. Bayonetta set her timer for 1 minute for them. Everyone was patiently waited for the timer to go off. The timer then went off and Link and Zelda pulled away from each other breathless. Zelda was about to go back to where she was sitting but then Link pulled her back so she was sitting on his lap. Bayonetta smirked at the outcome of the dare.

The game went on from there. Shulk got a penalty from not doing his dare to switch outfits with Daisy. He had to dance whenever he got up to do something. I kept on picking truth to avoid getting a dare that was like what Zelda had to do. A few more turns went by and it was my turn again. "Truth or dare (Y/n)?" Bayonetta asked me. "Truth," I said right away. "Come on (Y/n) you picked truth like how many times already. All I'm asking is for you to pick dare at least once," she said to me.

I thought about it for a moment, maybe she won't give me something extreme. I took a deep breath and said,"Fine, I'll do dare just this once," Bayonetta nodded her in approval at my response. "Okay, I dare you to confess your feelings to your crush," she said to me with a look of mischief. When those words came out of her mouth the color from my face drained. I shouldn't have agreed to play this. I really should've know better to not pick dare when it's Bayonetta.

"U-Uh can you just give me another dare please," I said desperate at this point. There was no way I would confess my feelings to Marth. I'm too afraid of getting rejected by him. "Nope, you can't get a different one," she said to me. I turned around to Marth and said very quickly with my face as red as a tomato,"Ihaveacrushonyouanditsokayifyoudontlike meback,"after I said that I jumped up from where I was sitting and ran upstairs. I ran into the guest room I was staying in and locked the door.

I slid down to the floor, bracing my back up against the door and pulling my legs close to myself. I buried my face into my hands as I felt my face turn red from embarrassment. I can't believe I confessed to him in front of everyone. If he doesn't accept my feelings it'll just be really awkward for us. There was light knock on the door. "Um (Y/n) can we talk," I recognized the voice to be Marth, and I felt my face fire up at what I said to him.

I know I can't avoid him it'll just make it worse. I slowly got up from the floor and turned around. I opened up the door and I started mentally preparing myself for rejection when he said the last words I'd expect,"I love you too." I was is in shock because I thought he didn't return my feelings. "W-What?" I stuttered out. "I'll say it again and again that I love you," he said to me while moving closer to me. I felt waves of happiness pass through me.

He then leaned down and gave me a gentle but sweet kiss. After a few seconds he pulled away, I started to miss the feeling instantly. "I love you too," I said with big smile on face. He grabbed my hand and laced it with his. We made our way back downstairs and everybody saw us holding hands. "Looks like my plan worked out in the end," Bayonetta said with a smile on her face. "I gotta hand it to you Bayonetta that was pretty good move there," Marth complimented while we both sat down in our places.

He looked at me and smiled and I smiled back. I actually got something good out of truth or dare for once. I finally got together with the person I love the most.
