(Y/n)'s POV

My eyes flew open when I heard a loud crash of thunder from outside. I've always hated sleeping during storms. It was like a chaotic never-ending war was raging outside. I could see the light from lightning flashing in my room through the closed blinds. I quickly pulled my blankets over my head, and I covered my ears with my hands. Right after lightning then comes- BOOM! I winced at the loudness of the thunder.

I pressed my hands on to my ears more as an attempt to block out the noise which didn't do me much good. Tears welled up in my eyes, and they began streaming slowly down my face. Thunderstorms scare me to death; and I can't take it anymore. I quickly reached out from underneath my blanket, and grabbed my phone off my nightstand. I was trying so hard to ignore the loudness of the storm while I was dialing on my phone.

I held my phone up to my uncovered ear; and I prayed that Marth would answer his phone. "Hello?" I heard a sleepy sounding Marth say. I felt relieved when I heard his voice, but that was quickly cut short when another loud sound of thunder came by. I yelped into the phone, "(Y/n) are you okay?!" Marth asked with concern. "I'm scared," I whimpered. "Can you come over?" I asked him. I can't sleep without him, I'm too scared.

"Yeah, I'll be over in a few," he said to me. "Alright," I responded before I ended the call. Marth lived in the same apartment complex as me so it's easy for us to go see each other. There was a knock on the front door. I got up from bed, and I rushed to the front door as fast as possible. I opened the door and I saw a slightly sleepy, and messy haired Marth in front of me. He walked inside, and I embraced him with a hug.

I felt his arms wrap around me. I jumped once more from the storm. "It's okay, it's okay," Marth repeated to me soothingly while stroking my head. I could feel my fear start to disappear little by little. I felt so safe in his arms. "Can you stay over at my place for tonight?" I asked him, I'm not gonna be able to sleep if I don't have company. "Of course," Marth said with a smile. We walked back to my room, and crawled under the blankets.

We snuggled up with each other. "Thank you," I said to him. If he hadn't come over I would've been a sobbing mess from the storm up till it stops. "It's no problem, and it gives me another excuse to cuddle you," Marth said to me. I laughed at his words, "That's fine with me," I said while snuggling more into him. "Good night (Y/n)," Marth said to me while planting a kiss on my head. "Good night," I responded.

The warmth and comfort from him made me fall asleep in an instant, and the storm raging on outside was forgotten just as fast.
