Time and Honesty

The Pharaoh kissed me goodbye holding a hug longer then usual. I suppose because it was the first time we willingly had to be separated.

I was unsure how to spend the next 3 days

I decided I would walk the gardens and spend time with mana.

I was in the gardens picking flowers and enjoying a visit from the palace cats. Isis came to me. She seemed up set.
She kneeled down next to me and took a deep breath.

"Evelyn...I saw somthing today.. About you."

My eyebrow raised about me?

"Its hard to determine to quite understand but something troubling is coming"

"What was the vision?" I asked

"I cannot say for sure...just be aware..that.." He lips pursed a moment "change is coming.."

Before I could ask anymore questions she walked away. My heart sank....was it Atem? Was he in trouble.

Later I noticed many people in the palace acted strangly Mana wouldnt speak to me. She was acting...so strange.. She def was bothered by something. I finally got the nerve to call her out.

"Mana why is everyone acting so strangely?" I spoke fusteratedly I finally caught up to her in one of the palace halls. She was so quickly to avoid me

Her lips frowned
"Evelyn...you are one of my dearest friends...but I cant have this conversation with you...it is forbidden" she quickly left me there in the hall. I stood there alone. Hurt. My friends seemed to know something bad.

I wanted Atem...it had only been a few hours and things were going south. I decided to head back to Atems chambers and take a nap. I didnt want anyone seeing me cry. But I felt so...confused. What conversation? And who was to speak to me about it?

I layed in the bed smothering myself in Atems spot his smell still lingered.

I feel into my doubts and worries.
