sorry for the long anticipated update, a full chapter to come once I revisit the story except a few chapters in the next month

To see all these man and women congregated around Mahads house was unnerving they were waiting for him..

"Pharaoh Atem" a voice in the crowed whispered

people began to rejoice excitedly as Atem revealed himself. Atem told them to quiet down as they were already drawing too much attention. 

I became worried glancing around hoping that these people were all here for Atem but I couldnt shake the feeling that perhaps one of them...was working directly for the queen.

Many people wanted to touch Atem their arms out streched hoping to confirm he was alive.

It was a loud crackle of a whip that broke the crowd up many of the fleeing to every corner of the streets.

"Seto..." My mouth dropped as Seto stepped down from a chariet a few soliders stood around him their pikes facing us.

Atem gustered me behind him as the cold man approached us

"I heard rumors..that you may of returned...I had to see it for my own eyes that you in fact stand before me."

Atem held his hand out a gester of peace.

Seto looked away before pointing to Atem

"I'm sorry, but I cant let you go about this rebellion"

guards came breaking up the crowd beating them the screams ringing in my ear as a felt a sharp tug on my arm dragging me in another direction

Mana

I reached for Atem whom was swallowed up in the crowd

Mana was shouting my name but the ringing in my ears the numbness in my heart

Atem..

everything was slow moving and all I could think was getting to him.
