When I awoke to the soft chirp of bird and quiet breathing gently against my neck I thought that I was still dreaming. A soft kiss on my neck opened my eyes to the sweet relief that I was truly not dreaming. Atem's soft eyes rested on my shoulder as he smiled sweetly.

"Did you sleep okay?" I asked turning to face him

He smiled brushing my hair behind my ear 

"Now I do" he wrapped his arms around me pulling me close to him gently kissing between my breasts up to my lips

His lips pressed against mine parting them enough to let his tong dance with mine. He smelled sweet like Honey it made my insides warm. His hands traveled along my curves giving me goose bumps with every trace his fingers glided gently against my stomach making me almost jump as his touch made it to my core striding against my insides. A soft moan escaped my lips as he moved on top of me. My body trembled as he entered me filling my insides with his throbbing member I felt almost limp as he pressed inside of me gently and passionate his lips moved down to my breasts where he gently suckled the sudden burst of fireworks in my body I moved myself to Straddle him. His hands gripped to my hips as he began thrusting himself deeper inside of me My body now smoldering in passion as his paced quickened my body. I felt myself get lightheaded before I felt the smooth warm rush inside of me the paced slowed as our soft pants filled the quiet morning. 

I traced my fingers down his chest as we quietly laid there embracing each other for moments that had escaped us. 

 ""Evelyn, I love you" Atem's Voice broke the stillness in the room

I Sat up to face him "and I love you" I smiled

Atems smile slowly faded as he stumbled over his words we handnt done much talking.

"When you left, things were...terrible" he finally managed to say "I let things..slip..my people I failed them..."

I nodded "I see, because of  the war...I saw the plaque in the meas-"

Atem held his hand up a moment seeming to be lost in thought trying to place his finger on something.

There was a long pause before Atem Sat up his eyes narrowed 

"Yes, it wasn't that war that killed me...."  his voice trailed off

My eyes grew wide "Wait what?"

Atem nodded "We have to get back... we have to deal with her...."

I felt the jealousy sinking under my skin, the pain that I had started to resurface. 

Yes...we had to deal with her

My notes held alot of answers for us as Atem was able to fluently ready the Egyptian hieroglyphics translating them to make a lot more sense then usual. We got many stares as Atem and I walked out with stacks of papers and files to the boardroom. My Assistant stumbling behind us picking up papers as we went.

"Ma'am, Do you and your...er guest need anything else?" I shook my head "No, you can head off"

Atem eyebrow rose "You seem to be an important figure around here" 

I nodded "Yeah, I guess if you want to think of it like that, I run the department"

I faced Atem who had a huge grin on his face "You'll make an excellent queen"

I blushed "Thats if we can make it back" 

Atem and I filtered through research after research to no avail. Frustration set in as I began pacing the floor trying to come up with something I held the puzzle studying it carefully.

"So your father made the puzzle...and It contains powerful black magic taken from the souls of criminals." I paused "You..also mean your soul was trapped in the Puzzle? and that was your fathers will on his death bed?"

Atem Nodded slowly "Yes.."

"And you are you ghost then? how are you physically here??" I scratched my head in a fluster

Atem stood up and grabbed my shoulder as to try to calm me down I was so incredibly confused not to mention still very pregnant. 

"Evelyn..please calm down a moment"

I took a deep breath, Atems eyes were so welcoming and soothing I felt my body go into shivers

"You willed me here, you wished it with such passion...my father told me when I was a child that the puzzle grants wishes to those who complete it. You wished for me.."

I wrapped my arms around him "That...I did" Atem smiled 

"And what exactly did you wish for?" I asked Atem 

Atem frowned a moment "I wished to be a good ruler....it didn't turn out that way"

I touched Atems face I hated to see him so guilty. He wasn't a poor leader...it was all my fault for leaving...he was just trying to keep his duty. 

Atem kissed my hand "regardless....." he pressed himself against me my body hitting the table

"Atem, not here" I giggled. Atem nuzzled my neck "I cant help it.." 

"Mind introducing us Evelyn?" I heard a mans voice

 I jumped pushing Atem away.

"Emmett, uhm this is Atem..." My voice trembling 

This wasn't good. not one, single bit. 

Emmett scowled 

Atems face was blank like he was so taken back by Emmett's appearance he didn't have time to emotionally react I almost started to laugh again.

"Atem...Hm" Emmett held him hand out

Atem arm reached out to meet his as Emmett grabbed Atems arm hard and in a flimsy purse to straight out deck him in the face. Atem grabbed Emmet'ts hand restraining him.

"God! Emmett Stop! Right now! I yelled 

As Atem attempted to wrestle him to the ground Emmett began to yell 

"You said we would talk Evelyn, I wanted you to be my wife! and you just ignore me and find someone else? who the hell is this guy!" 

Atems Eyes flashed at me before flashing at Emmett 

"Explain yourself! you purposed to an engaged women?" Atem pressed his knee into Emmetts neck

"Wha-" Emmett choked

"Enough!" I yelled Both men looked at me 

"That's..Enough!" 

Emmett pushed Atem off of his before standing up

"You are one." Emmett Lifted the puzzle off the table where I left it from earlier

My eyes grew

"Stuck up" Emmett raised his hand

"Bitch" He screamed

Emmett slammed the puzzle to the floor as both me and Atem darted for it in one single moment as the puzzle crashed to the floor a bright light emerged blinding me 

The light burned my eyes
