I awoke to oak, and mohgany. The smell of old books and cherry candles.
I was home in my bed?

Was that...a...Dream?

I rushed to my bedroom mirror to look at my face, nothing...I was fine..my feet and wrists weren't red and blistered. It was just...a dream.

I collapsed back onto my bed smacking my face.

That felt too real.

My phone began to ring.

Emmett.

"Hey...Sorry I just woke up"

"Its been 2 days?! Where have you been? Ive been to your house, the school, your favorite bar?"

He acted like my keeper....my wanna be boyfriend

"Emmett chill...ill call you when I'm more...awake in fine"

He just kept on with his lecture before I hung up.

Staring at my phone a dozen missed calls from Emmett and a couple dozen texts. I threw it to the other side of the bed.

I decided it was time for a shower...where had I been for two days? Asleep?

As I took my shower I couldn't help but think of my dream. Those eyes.
I couldnt make sense of two days I was supposedly gone for.

I headed downstairs for some tea, everything was still in order. Except...

There on the table...the puzzle was still in pieces untouched.

That's..impossible I know I finished it.
I sat down on the couch in front of the organized piles.
