No evidence of the puzzle was found as days passed the police seemed to care less and less. 

I had concealed my pregnancy well from Emmett and the others only knowing it was a matter of time before I would have to tell them.  

I spent a lot of my pass time googling baby names, baby things I was excited somewhat, I couldn't help it. I had a part of Atem inside me, with me. It was a unexplained miracle. I sat at my desk sipping a smoothie when out of the corner of my eye I saw someone pass my desk window. Someone familiar, Someone who-

My assistant came rushing into the office

"There- uh- The puzzle- it's uh" She fumbled over her words before looking faint

I sprung up from the desk know immediately it wasn't an illusion.

"Someone just walked in wearing the Puzzle Amulet"

I ran out of my office quickly making my way to the Egyptian exhibit. 

There he was, as bright as day it was him, it looked just like him

Everything seemed to go in slow motion as I reached out to the man who quickly turned and nearly jumped at the sight of me

"Uh, hello" He seemed uneasy 

I realized how crazy I must of looked but it was him, but I glanced down his black tee-shirt the Puzzle my eyes lite up

"Where-Where did you? Where have you" My words fumbled as I wrapped my arms around him nearly collapsing on the floor with happiness

"Do..I? Do I know you?" his words were like knives in my heart he...he

I felt like I shattered into a million pieces once again.

I slowly dropped my arms to face him again

"So-Sorry I thought...you were someone else" I managed to speak a smooth recovery

 "Can I ask you where you go that?" I pointed at the puzzle.

..had he lost his memory? all of it?..no

"Oh? this? Honestly that's why I'm here"

I stared at his beautiful eyes I so desperately wanted to touch his face, something to prove to me it was him that I wasn't dreaming.

"Evelyn.." I blurted out "Head of the department, I can assist you" my hand out in front of me shaking 

"Oh....uhm" He looked confused before giving a light heart smile "Adam"

"Adam....." My words slowly filled the name 

What in the fuck is going on.

I had "Adam" sit in my office and explain to me how he came upon a stolen artifact. Things became even stranger

He had no recollection of really anything, who he was where he was from. He said he had feelings though, feelings that he traveled far, and that he saw an advertisement that had the puzzle as the center display for the Exhibit and put two and two together. He had been sleeping on the streets for the passed few days trying to put things together. It was clear, he was somewhat filthy. My mind was boggled I tried to keep my jaw from dropping as he talked. It was him, and the puzzle had something to do with it. As he spoke I tried to place together how this all came to be. I knew when I put the puzzle together It took me back in time, and perhaps when Atem was buried it pushed him in time almost like a rebirth. But what happened to him, according to the tablet displaying him and..that women it spoke of a war, I had only assumed he had died during said war. But why come here...how did he live and breath right in front of me how-

"Uhm..Ma'am are you okay? you look ill?" He eyes addressed with concern as I vomited in my office basket immediately. 

"Dammit" I mumbled

"Is this really a good time for you? I'm sorry I don't know how I got this please take it back, I might of stolen it"

Oh, he was still on how the puzzle was "stolen" I shook my head

"Atem..I mean Adam, Excuse me" I wiped my mouth still feeling the bile in my throat

"Do you need a place to stay why you figure things out?" I spoke quietly hoping no one would hear me offer a place to a man off the streets..a man who was the father of this child and an array of other things that will be complicated to explain once Emmett came around.

Atem shook his head "No, I couldn't impose like that, that's incredibly kind but I mu-"

I reached over the deck placing my finger against his lips

"Shush, you'll be staying with me from now on"
