Between Time (Pharaoh Atem X OCReader)

Anarchy

The screams seemed to paralyzed me  as I watched my love was taken away

Mana grabbed me quickly making it to me throwing me down and pulling to away from the crowd the screams and shouts of the soldiers slaughtering those who were now deemed traitors for simply witnessing Atem still alive. I began to tremble, I had to need to do something 

"Where are they taking him Mana!" I shook her violently as she tried to calm me down

"Evelyn you mustnt! no, we will figure something out but you are with child you can't-" She paused noticing the intensity in my eyes the fury I held.  

"I Don't Care! Where are they taking him!" I shouted again 

Mana pressed her lips together a moment before nodding

"I know where they will be taking him..." She grabbed my arm and hurried down the deserted alley towards the palace.

The Palace

"Well well, it is quite interesting to see your alive....Atem" The queens long finger stroked Atems chin

"How dare you! let me go at once!" Atem demanded

The queen began to laugh "But, my pharaoh you are dead! and so is everyone else who knows!"  She paused a moment a smile peeled across her face"But don't worry, your lovely concubine will surely be captured alive just long enough to"

her laugh lifted as she began to pace slowly around the pharaoh "you'll be kept alive just long enough to watch her cut and gutted like an animal.

Atem broke his grasp free his hands gripped around the cruel queens throat her laughter still cackling as the air left her throat. The loyal soldiers pulled him back to his knees

"Don't you dare touch her she has nothing to do with this"

the queen gently rubbed her chin thinking a moment before her sadistic smile grew larger

"are you begging? the great pharaoh on his knees begging his queen to spare a whore?"

"she is no whore!" he snapped

The queen nodded 
"go take him somewhere cozy until we find the girl"

the queens turned away quietly thinking to herself

how did he manage to possibly survive...how

a voice broke from the darkness the thief kings yellow smile gave the queen chills
a deal was made between the two a bond in blood.
he wrapped his arm around her tightly

"oh you look so flustered...don't worry... if I plunged that knife into the pharaoh once ill surely do it again but this time...ill make sure he never comes back"
