To Be A Pharaoh

Hours passed before I heard a knock on the door.

It was the pharaohs advisor.

"Ah! Excuse me! Miss, come with me you have been requested in the great hall"

Finally.

I headed out to the hall, to be able to walk the hall without having to sneak around was nice. I wonder if he told everyone.  The great hall was at the cebter of the palace

It was stunning curtains hung around the columns a deep purple. There was music and dancers. People laughing and enjoying food and drink. To be able to see this was amazing. I had often wonder what the ancient egyptains did for fun, it seemed this was a very liked celebration.

"Ah, the great Pharaoh await you, he is siting over there"

I nodded

He was sitting in his throne looking...rather bored his head resting on his chin he seemed lost in his thoughts again. I climbed the steps to him. It was then his attention was on me.

He began blushing
"You...look lovely" he said quietly.

"Thanks, you look like your having a great time" I said sarcastically

Atem smirked "your ability to read me is quite troubling"

"why is it troubling?" I raised my eyebrows curiously.

Stem chuckled "because I'm the Pharaoh, and no one should know what I'm thinking"

"Psh..." I giggled.

Stem called over a servent with two gauntlet glasses enormous and gold.

"Here, have you tried Egypts finest wine?"

I held the large glass in my hand, I wasnt much of a drinker but this might be my only chance to try this

"No but I'm delighted to try"

Atem stood up addressijg the court and thanking them with a cheer.

"I would like to thank everyone for coming on this day as a celebration of life and death. I would also like too..."

I saw him towards me

I grew pale as eyes were now on me.

"I would like to thank Evelyn for joining me...you are beautiful"

I wanted to hide my face was beat red now. He told everyone I was beautiful no one had ever treated me so...special.

Everyone raised their glasses and began cheering to their new Pharaoh we all took a drink the wine was sweet but bitter almost like plums and figs. It was delicious it wasnt long before another glass was handed to me. I had finished it so quickly I felt the slight buzz dabbling over my head.

"Are you enjoying yourself?" Atem leaned over to me

"Yes, its lively and fun" I said swayingly

Atem was frequently visited by guests giving him gifts from their part if the world. His hands were kissed, people bowed all the way to the floor he was quite admired for just starting. I wondered what his father and mother were like during their rule.

I drank the rest of my second glass and felt drunk now, a servent brought me another which I set down I couldbt keep still.

I felt myself spinning

"Come here...."

I looked over to Atem patting his lap with the most...seducing look ever. And me being drunk made me lust for him.

I stood up carefully trying not to look as drunk as I was. But unfortunately when I got to his lap I got clumsy and fell into his lap.

"Did you...need something your highness?"

Atem flashed his eyes at me. Making me get goosebumps I felt his hand on my side where my skin was showing. Gently rubbing. I wondered if he felt my goosebumps
I rested my head into his neck he smelled like musk and cinnomen. I felt his other hand move my hair behind my ear.
"don't you worry what...people might say?" I staggard

"Heh, I can choose who I spend my time with"

I breathed in deeply smelling his warmth I closed my eyes to help the room from spinning.
His hand slowly trailed up to my breast softly gripping it
I felt the soft whips from him moving my hair off my neck before kissing my neckbone. Send vibrations all over.

"Beauty doesn't even capture a word for you" his wispered in my ear. I felt weak in his arms.

"My king, I am sorry to interrupt but may I speak to you?"

I opened my eyes to see Mayas standing before us. Atem nodded generally guiding me off of him. He sat me down in his throne

"I shall be back, enjoy this moment"

I giggled I watched them head out to the hall darkend by night fall. I couldnt make out what was being said...I just hoped it wasn't anything too serious.
