A soft brush of air woke me as
My fingers graced Atems chest.

"Good morning my beloved" his whispered softly nuzzling me.
Wed fall in asleep on the cool floor but it was clear mana took the time to give us blankets as the nights were cool.

Atems eyes were hard to break from as he landed a passionate kiss on my lips his arms wrapped around me tightly bringing me in closer.

"If only we were alone..." He growled playfully pressing his erection against me
"I cant help but want you...right now.."
His lips pecked my neck
Soft nibbles on me ear made me want to moan before hearing
Mana approaching us
"Breakfast is ready I'm sure your both hungry"
I heard Atem groan as he pushed himself away from me.
"Yes, yes Mana we are coming"
He huffed as he got around.

I sighed as well sitting up and brushing my wild bedhead down

"How can something be so beautiful.." Atem smirked as kissed my forehead
"Take your time we have much go get done today.." He shut the curtain that had split the room up as the others were gathered on the otherside. My heart fluttered with that statement. We did have much to accomplish...we had to take back the city.

Mahad and a few men sat around the small table with Atem a small poorly drawn map in the middle of them as they discussed maneuvers.
Mana called me over to help her outside with the food left in the clay oven.

Mana seemed concerned as she watched me gather the fresh bread from the oven she finally broke her silence with a jab
"I cannot believe you would put yourself in such a reckless situation...if your with child..His child...the heir to Egypt"

I sighed to take a moment to put together the words to say it.

"Mana I'm not useless, ill be fine..I'm not in such a vanurable state its been a few weeks.."

A few weeks...that made my heart sink. I hadnt really taken the time to pay attention but I did notice my protruding stomach was indeed showing more then before.

Mana sighed "have you told Atem.." Her statement made me nearly drop the basket of bread and fruit into the dust below

"No!" I shouted "I can't not, not now...its stressful enough as it is"

Mana shook her head dissapointmented.

"As your Servent...I will help you, in anyway for you and the child..but as your friend...I beg you"

I shook my head

"Lets get back I'm sure the men are just as hungry.

We all sat around the small table the few other citizens had headed home to get ready for the recruitment.

Squeezed lemon juice all over my bread mashing plums on top as I took a bite I saw Atem, mahad and mana mouths drop.

"Uhm please excuse me, but are you feeling alright?" Mahad broke the strange tension.

I nodded setting the bread down
"I wanted something sour, and something sweet"

They all looked at each other confused as they continued to eat their food. I became a little insecure and Mana smirked eyeing me.

Atem and Mahad took off after lunch in secrecy Atem wore a hood to conceal his identity as they decided to recruit civilans to storm the palace however they had to weed out who was loyal and who was not a very tricky task

"I will be back..please don't worry" Atem kissed me longingly his thumb rubbed my cheek before Mahad called for him.
