Atem. Had returned. But something was different now.

I saw the pain and worry in his eyes.

"Atem..."

He finally sat up and faced me taking a deep breath.

He took my hand out to the balcony.

"....do you remember what I said to you..."

My eyebrow furrowed

"Remeber what?"

Atem looked out to the city

"When we made love.. I told you I loved you..that I wanted you to know the intesity of those words."

I nodded "yes I remember..."

He looked down at the ground before facing me once again.

He got down on one knee.

"Marry me...be with me..for all eternity.."

His hands held mine as though he was begging me.

I didn't...I..what..my head was spinning.

"Please...I cannot phathom in to words how I feel for you..."

I touched his face...was there anyone better....

"Yes.....I will"

Atem shot up squeezing me his arms tightly around me his lips pressed firmly to mine.

"I love you..." He whispered

"I....love you too.." I finally managed to say it.

Atem pulled back to look at me a grin in his face.

"I've waited for what feels like an eternity for you to tell me that"

I giggled.

He held me there on the balcony slowly rocking us both back and forth. We stood there a long time his head was on mine. I was warm..and happy.

As long as we are together....I will be happy.

A few days passed I had spent mostly lazing about the days were long and hot. Atem had spent many days dealing with the public there was some concerns in the city.

I became too hott and finally decided to get in the bath. It was cool and relaxing. I heard footsteps from behind me.
Before I could turn around hands over my eyes. I almost screamed before I felt a peck on my cheek.

"Good afternoon my love."

I laughed

"Good afternoon"
I moved his hands to see his beautiful face.

"I have a gift for you" he smiled

He was always spoiling me with things. As much as I loved it i wabted his company more.

"Whats that?" I held out my hand

Atem smirked "oh no, come get dressed"

I jumped out of the tub and threw on my old robe I had from the future.

Atem pushed me out the door and down the hall. When we got close he covered my eyes again kissing my neck.

"I want this to be yours"
He guided me into the room before removing his hands. The room was big and beautiful. Plants and flowers the bright sun came through the big window. A small pool was in the center of the room. And then I ran to where the windows were a desk, with papari and chalk, charcole...everything Egypt had to offer for me to draw. Atem had come to kmow me well...I loved drawing Egypt. And now I drew of home.
I turned around and kissed him knocking him over to the floor.

"I...this is all mine?"

Atem nodded
" There a small bed here too if you wish time away from me or.." He smiled

I giggled
"You mean time with you"
I said seductively

Atem smirked before smacking my buttocks

I laughed "very inappropriate to do to your guest"

His eyebrow raised
"You mean my wife...?"

I laughed "yes... Thats right!" I layed back on him smelling him.

He rubbed my hair gently I listen to his heart beat there on floor it was warm in the sun.

"Atem...does...will this make me...a queen?"

"Yes.  It rightfully does."

I sat back up... "I don't.. Uhm..."

Atem laughed, "you'll do great ..your only worry is.."
he put his hand on my stomach
"Providing me with a son...much later.."
I placed my hand on his
"You need an heir...of course"

He nodded "Do not worry about these things...its not expected quite so soon..."

He kissed me...
"But...if you continue looking the way you do...Ill be forced to keep making love to you.."

I laughed and got off of him.

"Do you have any more plans today?" I asked placing my foot in the pool.

Atem came over to me...

"Mmm not for quite some time.." His hands began to slide my robe off my shoulders..
I spread my neck out for him to kiss.

"Shall I join you...the pool looks quite refreshing"

I nodded he still gave me goose bumps.

He removed my robe and then his clothing and we stepped into the pool.
He wrapped his arms around me pressing my against the tile wall.

"Your...irrestiable" he whispered kissing my cheek and moving down to my neck I closed my eyes I loved how affectionate he was.
It had been days since we made love.

He bit my open neck as he poured into me the feeling rushing in.. I felt relief. Atem kissed me again before putting me down. He held me in the water humming and dancing with me. I was so tired. Atem found it amusing

"Ah...are you tired now?" He smirked

Atem got out of the tub holding out his hand to help me out.

"I must return...please rest here...relax and enjoy it.."

I smiled weakly before my knees gave out I laugh a bit

"Sorry. I..uhm"

"No I'm sorry..look at you..."

I glared at him "what about me?"

Atem smiled "I took your innocence..." He joked

I stood back up rolling my eyes he helped put my robe back on before collapsing The small pile of pillows near the window.

Atem kissed me goodbye
And I rested my tired eyes

Something still...felt wrong
