S1: Chapter 9 - Dodgeball!

Chapter 9

PYRRHA

That whistle was blown.

The signal was given.

Everyone shouted their battle cry.

Many balls were thrown.

Some have already fallen.

That battle for survival of the fittest has begun.

I dodge some and I'm going well. My reflexes are working which makes me feel so awesome. Meanwhile, Nauri's eyes were burning in rage. Our team mates give her several baskets with balls. She throws all of them in several seconds. She's like a sort of a machine gun on rapid fire. Damn scary. Her target's so damn screwed.

There are still many people who are still in the game. I already hit like seven people which is kinda impressive I guess. There are still many in our team also.

Some of the people in the other team make Nauri their target. Reasonable, without her I think we could really win a fight.

Sooner, many have fallen. I already took down 12. My accuracy is so damn flawless. Hahaha!

Then I noticed Jack and Dante. They look like they're starting to team up. And Nauri's target is Jack?!

Wat is goin' on?

Dante starts to deflect Nauri's attack one by one. Jack helps too and started kicking several balls in the air. That's cool. I helped in defending our main weapon and blocked those attacks.

Jack dodged the counterattacks and Dante got a very rope and tied it securely to a ball. Where did he get that? That looks pretty heavy. He simply waited for his momentum and started using it like a huge yoyo. He started dooming around and blocked several attacks from our team.

Jack started throwing balls in the air and kicking it. Both teams are gradually lessening players and the game becomes more intense.

I took down another 3.

And boom! Headshot! 15 in a row!!!

Nauri starts to attack more strategically and with more accuracy. She started picking the balls towards them and got them down. Several people were left and our team has lost many as well.

"Bat." Nauri exclaimed and our teammate got her one. Shit got serious.

"Pyrrha, throw some balls in the air!"

"Got it!" I replied.

I threw 5 simultaneously and she got them all. She took some of the others. She seems to be determined to finish the game now.

Jack and Dante started approaching us.

"Dante, cover me!"

"Roger!" then he started swinging his weapon again and he was more powerful.

"Pyrrha!"

"Got it!"

I started smashing the balls. It's been a while since I play some volleyball with a dodgeball. LOL.

My reflexes are working and I started to attack more rapidly.

"Girls!!!" Nauri shouted.

"Yes, ma'am!" the volleyball girls exclaimed in chorus and side by side, we served the balls altogether.

Dante tried to deflect our attacks but he almost got hit. Jack got a near-miss as well. They started attacking back.

"Girls, fall back!"

"Yes!"

"Pyrrha, it's show time!" she smirked.

It's the four of us who is only left.

She got her bat and started running towards them. I keep serving the balls for support. Jack got two bats and he got some kind of sword fight with her.

I came forward to support her and keep on attacking.

Nauri finally made him off guard. "PYRRHA!"

I served the final ball with all I got. Nauri jumped up and hit it with her full strength. Dante tried to block it but he failed.

The two of them were taken down at once.
