S1: Chapter 14 - Frozen

Chapter 14

PYRRHA

We stood there and waited as we continue to hear the Siren's Song.

The large waves rose and it's glowing blue light illuminated the scenery.

It was a breathtaking sight to be honest.

After that, we saw what us beneath the waves. A group of femme fatales appeared before us. Very gorgeous and charming indeed. They look like a woman that's water, since they are sea nymph so... yeah.

Speaking of water, how are they gonna deal damage though?

"Jack, you take the lead." Dante said.

"Got it." Jack replied and put on the hood of his jacket. He turned to me and smiled, "I'll be okay. Please step back for a while."

I nodded and stepped back. Nauri backed me up.

He stomped on the floor and a large glyph appeared on where Jack stood. It looks like a snowflake. It glowed bright and it was very beautiful.

"Wanna have some fun?" Jack smirked as he made a snowflake out of his hand. By the time he snatched it from the air, a sudden explosion of ice and snow from it surrounded him.

After the smoke was cleared, there were many sharp icicles that appeared behind him, suspended in the air. They looked like his wings.

He pointed at them and the icicles faced it's sharp edges to them.

"Bang!" he exclaimed with a smile on his face. Then, the icicles flew and hit them. They screamed and cried in pain. The cold ice slowly consumed them. Bit by bit, they're becoming frozen.

All of them screeched that hurt our ears. My ears continued ringing. My head is aching already.

Dante ran forward as the Sirens strike back. He swung his scythe and hit their frozen parts. The Siren broke into a thousand pieces. He continued to attack their weak point and he easily draftees them. The problem is whenever Dante defeated one, another two would jump out and they are becoming too many for him.

It's like Dante's attacks are getting useless and I think he couldn't handle that many.

That what I thought.

Dante's scythe changed its form and the blade transformed similar to a whip. Dante started to use it at full force and many shattered into pieces. Ice fractals glistened in the air.

Unfortunately after Dante's successful combo; 5 more Sirens appeared from the water and were simultaneously about attack him.

"SWITCH!" Nauri exclaimed.

A sudden strong gust of wind passed by us. The wind went straight ahead of Dante.

It was Nauri.

She was indeed The Wind Waker.

Using her sword, she was able to make them fall back.

"T-thanks..." Dante huffed.

"Don't mention it." Nauru smiled and drew her sword against them. Fused with her Wind magic, her attack were very effective. One of the Sirens tried to counter her attack but she just gracefully dodge them using her air steps.

Dante and Nauri continued to fight them. Jack and I looked around. We're surrounded.

"They're too many. Jack! I'm sorry but you must take care of the others by yourself behind. Freeze the water! That's a good way to avoid them rising from the water! DO IT!" Nauri shouted as she and Dante struggled to fight them.

"I got it..." Jack nodded, "Don't worry I'll still look after you." he said as he looked at me.

"No. You must focus so you can defeat them all. It's you versus them. I can handle myself." I answered.

"Are you sure?" he asked.

Before I was able to reply, I noticed that a very huge rock was able to fall above us. My body reacted dodged and pulled Jack away along with me.

Because of this, the ship was very damaged. Very much. The other half of the ship sank along with it.

"See?" I joked.

He took that as a yes and immersed himself into the water. Most of it became frozen instantly. Slowly, the ice grew and slowly overcome it. The Sirens emerged and Jack casted several glyphs and icicles went flying to them. They were frozen instantly. Soon, the sea was completely frozen.

Dante and Nauri just finished as well.

It's all over.

I sighed. I did nothing at all. Gosh.

But it wasn't over yet.

The ice started breaking which startled all of us.
