Chapter 11

PYRRHA

"Ugh. You two are helpless."

I heard a familiar voice of a girl.

It felt like there's a strong gust of wind behind us.

It feels like we're floating.

The wind helped me to stand up again and hold on Jack who is still not letting go.

I turned back and saw Dante running towards us.

"Thanks for helping!" Dante exclaimed.

"Its alright." the girl replied.

"Pyrrha, are you alright?" he asked me.

"I'm fine." I smiled and looked at Jack who kept holding me tight, "Jack isn't."

"He pushed himself too hard earlier didn't he, Wind Waker?"

A girl with glowing red eyes approached us. When she came closer, I recognized her and I was shocked.

"NAURI?!" I exclaimed.

"Yeah, it's me." she smiled.

"You're a Witch too?!" I exclaimed.

"Eh? Well... Yeah." she replied, "Hey Girly-Face help her out."

"Stop calling me Girly-Face, dammit! I'm helping, okay?" Dante insisted.

Well since the Nauri and Jack know each other and both witches, does that mean that Dante is a Witch too?

"Yes, Pyrrha. I'm also a Witch." he suddenly said.

"Eh? How did you-" I gasped.

"You see, Dante could read someone's thoughts. He's known as the Soul Reader." Nauri said.

"Awesome!" I exclaimed.

"Oh stop it you!" Dante blushed.

"How's Jack?" she asked.

"He seems to be a bit more relaxed now and he's hugging me not that tight. It's pretty hard to breathe and he's heavy too." I said.

"This Frost-Idiot!" Nauri exclaimed, irritated.

"What should I do?" I looked down.

"Let me help you carry him." Dante offered his help.

"Th-thanks."

But when Dante was about to touch him, Jack suddenly hugged me tight again.

Is he half-asleep?

"I can handle myself, okay? I'm just taking a rest." Jack suddenly said.

"You idiot! Pyrrha would have gotten hurt if Dante didn't call me!" Nauri scolded him.

"Whatever..." he said and raised his head up. His face was still red.

"You're just jealous I'm able to get closer to Pyrrha easily." he taunted which irritated Nauri.

"Stop it the two of you!" Dante exclaimed.

Well, Jack and Nauri did stop.

"Jack, you need to rest. And next time, don't push yourself too hard. We'll take you home." Dante said calmly, "Naurila, your chauffeur is waiting, you should go."

"B-but! How about the three of you! What are you gonna do?!" she exclaimed.

"We're gonna walk Jack home." Dante answered.

"Dante, do you know how risky that is?! You know that those-"

"I know." Dante calmly replied.

"Whatever! You guys are coming with me! I can feel those people around us. It'll be more risky since you're alone to handle the situation when I'm not around. Jack still haven't recovered fully and he doesn't feel well. Pyrrha is still not ready to fight. They'll take that advantage Dante, so you people are going with me." Nauri insisted.

"Good point." Dante bowed his head low.

"Do you already have you're your things with you?" Nauri asked us and we nodded.

I felt something weird in the atmosphere.

Something's wrong.

Jack finally let go of me and looked at the same direction the others are looking at.

"Jack, are you alright? Are you sure you can handle yourself now?" I asked him.

"Yes, I'm fine. Thanks to you." He smiled.

"Naurila, they are not alone." Dante said.

"I know." She answered.

"Pyrrha this time, look after Jack." She told me.

"Hey, I'm not that helpless!" Jack said in return. He does look better than earlier, "I'll look after her. This is quite a serious case, isn't it?"

"What do you mean, Jack?" I asked him.

"Pyrrha, right now we are going to crossing a boundary."
