61: RACOON EYES

The racoon that you let into your heart,
misses you.
It waits by the door pining for you to enter
even though you may be worlds away.
They have left scratch marks all over the walls
because they couldn't go any longer without seeing you.
They've tried to get rid of those bags under there eyes,
All because of you,
And how they know you care.
They treat sleep not as in a challenge but in an opportunity to dream
and to see you once more,
even if it just in there wildest dreams.
They have started to open themselves up to the worlds a bit more now.
There no longer afraid of facing fears that once left them paralysed.
They understand that you care for them.
They know that they love you,
even if I'm just a sleepy racoon.
