Cooper jumped awake, looking around and realizing that he was in a different room. This one had a large window on the upper wall, allowing Dr. Reuben and Kayleigh to overlook him. A small hatch in the ground opened, and out of it came Drew, being lifted up on a podium. He had on military grade armor and equipment, holding what looked like a helmet in his hands. Drew smirked at Cooper who slowly began to stand up.
"Where am I now?!" Cooper shouted up at Kayleigh. He noticed that Kayleigh pressed a button, causing her voice to come over a loudspeaker.
"Let's call it the training rooms. This is where your tests will take place." she informed him. Cooper felt his face drain of color as Drew jumped down from his podium. His outfit was all black, and the helmet covered his face. Cooper took a step back as Drew took a pistol out of the holster on his waist.
"Ready kid?" Drew asked, aiming the gun at him.
"Um... what?" Cooper asked. The pistol fired and Cooper watched as the bullet slowed down right before his eyes. He put a finger on the bullet and watched as it changed it's course. He smirked to himself, going back to where he was standing and letting time catch up to him. The bullet went upwards out of nowhere and hit the roof.
"Amazing..." Dr. Reuben said with a huge smile. Kayleigh couldn't help but smirk as well, while Drew cocked the pistol again. He fired multiple shots this time at Cooper, who had disappeared from where he was standing. Cooper had appeared behind Drew, who quickly turned around and caught Cooper off guard. He swept Cooper's legs out from underneath him with a kick.
"Too slow." Drew said. Kayleigh smirked, hoping this would help set Cooper off. "Don't be afraid to fight back kid."
"Too slow." Cooper muttered to himself. He stood up quickly as Drew froze in place. "Too slow." he muttered again. He put up his fists and began to punch Drew in the stomach and chest, over and over. Drew's body slowly began to move backwards as Cooper ran to one wall, turned, then ran right at Drew and slammed his shoulder into Drew's chest. Time caught back up with Cooper, who watched as Drew flew backwards into the opposite wall. He slumped to the ground, holding his stomach and giving a weak thumbs up to Kayleigh.
"Wonderful Cooper! We'll have more for you to do in a few minutes. Take a rest!" Dr. Reuben spoke over the loudspeaker. Cooper took a deep breath, feeling weak after spending a long period of time moving at super speed. He sat down on the ground, before fully laying down and staring at the bright light that hung from the ceiling.

"He looks good. The blood tests should come back soon, then we can get in depth with the research." Dr. Reuben said as he walked into his lab with Kayleigh. She stood at the door, watching as the scientist sat down in his chair and began to enter the information on his computer.
"What's wrong?" Kayleigh asked.
"What do you mean? Nothing's wrong." Dr. Reuben said, focusing on what he was inputting into his database.
"No. You would be much more excited if nothing was wrong." the lieutenant said, calling him out as she walked over to his desk. Dr. Reuben sighed, stroking back the little hair he had. He took off his glasses and rubbed the bridge of his nose.
"It's the sixth subject. We haven't heard anything about them since their appearance. Where is it? What is it doing? We don't even have an idea who it was because of the darkness around it!" Dr. Reuben vented out loud.
"Relax Reuben. We're going to find whoever it is. We're gonna make sure their powers are contained for their own good. Nothing is going to get out of hand. Hopefully we can reason with it like we reasoned with subject one." Kayleigh said. She looked at the watch on her wrist then snapped her fingers. "Let's go. We need to get back to him before it's too late. He's only a kid. His parents will worry."
