Cooper sprinted away from Jade, pulling the shard of ice out of shoulder with an agonizing scream. The tip of it was painted red and he dropped it onto the ground, putting his hand over the open wound and looking over at Jade who was kneeling on the ground and staring at him. She slowly stood, extending her hands toward him as pieces of the wall and floor began to break off, turning into shards as well. Cooper's eyes went wide as he turned and ran at super speed. The wall was behind him, and as he turned around and moved at super speed, he went right through it, appearing in the hallway.

"What the?" Cooper asked, looking down at his body and then behind him to see the entrance to the auditorium. A lightning bolt in the middle of the hallway caught his attention. Cooper took a few steps forward and watched as Danny came flying towards him. Cooper ducked, looking back again to see his ally lying on the ground with smoke coming off of him.

"Worthless." the Higher Being muttered, slowly walking towards the down teen. Danny looked at Cooper, his eyes barely open. His lips moved but nothing came out as he was grabbed by his shirt and thrown into a wall with greater strength than he or Johnny possessed.

"Leave him alone." Cooper said, stepping forward slightly. The Higher Being snapped around, staring down Cooper.

"Are you going to put up a better fight?" the Higher Being asked. "Or do you know better than to question the one you should be thanking."

Cooper then realized what exactly he was looking at. It didn't hit him at all that it was an all blue creature, or that it possessed a power no one had seen before. Hearing that voice though, the same voice that came from Romero's body snapped him back into reality. The hero shtick was quickly tossed to the side as Cooper attempted to run, getting struck by lighting in the back and being flung forward into the intersection of the hallway.

Mollie ducked under Romero's staff and elbowed Sophie in the stomach. She turned around, attempting to punch Romero who blocked it with his arm and then smacked the girl in the chest with his staff. Mollie stumbled backwards into Sophie, who attempted to grab her. Mollie kicked backwards, hitting Sophie in the knee and then teleported towards the entrance of the gym.

"Use the stone on her. We can't let her get away." Romero ordered. Sophie nodded her head, sprinting after her enemy who teleported through the doors and out into the hall. Romero was right behind the duo, running after them while Mollie made it to the intersection where she saw a downed Cooper.

"We need to go now." Mollie said, looking up slowly as she watched the Higher Being grab Danny by the shirt and throw him over to where they were. "Is that..."

"The Higher Being." Romero muttered as he and Sophie stood speechless behind Mollie. The two of them kneeled for the one who bestowed power upon them. Cooper slowly rose to his feet, feeling a burning sensation on his back after the lighting had struck him.

"Freeze them." the Higher Being commanded. Romero and Sophie looked up to see Jade slowly approaching her former friends. Cooper looked at her, shaking his head as she stuck her hand and shot ice out of it. Cooper opened his mouth but was encased in a block of the cold substance. Mollie looked over at him worriedly and then took a step towards Jade, only to end up in the same situation. Jade then looked down at Danny who was staring up at the group with one eye closed and the other barely open.

"Do it. Come on Jade. Finish us off." Danny muttered as blood spurted out of his mouth.

"Leave him." the Higher Being said.

Drew stood still, not knowing how he was going to get out of the pitch black situation. His grip on his gun was tight, his finger hovering over the trigger as an eerie sensation began to wash over him. He aimed it down one end of the tunnel, just to be safe as the light from the flashlight miraculously came back on. It gave him a good view of what was down the tunnel and he sighed, seeing nothing. Letting his guard down, he reached to pick up the flashlight, only to feel something sharp getting stabbed into the back of his knee.
