Drew dropped into the sewers, causing a small amount of the sewer to splash up and hit his pants. He pulled a flashlight out of his backpocket and turned it on, looking both ways before whistling. Kayleigh dropped down right after him, she stumbled a bit, trying not to put her hands in the dirty water.
"I can't believe we're doing this." Drew muttered.
"Stop complaining and just signal them." Kayleigh said, turning to face the same direction as Drew.
"Fine." Drew said, holding up the flashlight. He clicked it on and off three times, and then left it off. The only light in the sewer now was what came through from the manhole they entered from. Drew rolled his eyes, knowing it wasn't going to work. He turned to look at Kayleigh and saw a man appear behind her.
"Kay-" he began to say before something dark was placed over his head, and was placed into a headlock. He began to struggle against whoever had him, but knew it was useless. He felt himself moving into unconsciousness, and soon his body was being dragged through the sewer along with Kayleigh's.

"You guys need to go." FC instructed, his eyes not moving away from the Higher Being. Rain clouds began to fill the sky as more lightning strikes came down, hitting the ground.
"We can't just leave you here." Mollie said.
"You don't have a choice. Deal with the others at the high school and I'll buy you time." FC told them. He ran off, disappearing in a flash while the four were left to make their way back to the high school.
FC appeared right in front of the Higher Being, feeling fear creeping up throughout his body. He found himself shaking, and not from the super speed as he stared down the creature responsible for causing him so much pain. The Higher Being smirked, moving his head from side to side as he jumped off the meteor, landing on the ground and causing a slight tremor.
"You're different." the Higher Being said, looking FC up and down.
"You're not." FC said with disgust, shaking his arms and trying to loosen up his nerves.
"Doesn't matter who you are. What you are. Where you're from. You'll fate will be the same as the rest." the Higher Being threatened, sending a bolt of lighting at the super powered teenager who moved out of the way quickly.
"Not easily." FC said softly to himself, looking back towards at the Higher Being who looked as if he was going over who this was in his head.
"I created you... clearly." the Higher Being seemed to reason. "But I don't remember it..."

"You want my help with something extra terrestrial that is responsible for those little teenage devils that I've been going after?" Director Graham asked, standing in front of Kayleigh and Drew. The two were sat in wooden chairs, their hands tied behind their backs with a single light hanging above them.
"Well yes." Drew said, looking at Kayleigh.
"But the kids go free." Kayleigh added on. Graham's head snapped to look at her.
"They are monsters. People should not possess abilities like they do." Graham retorted.
"We're giving you the source of those abilities. This alien gave them those powers. Imagine what you could learn by going through its body. You'd be a hero to this country." Drew said.
"Promotions would fly at you." Kayleigh spoke with a smirk.
"It's reasonable to think with the source dead, the powers would be taken away as well. Very well. My men and I will aid you in taking down this creature. Then we wipe their memories. None of them should remember this happened. Especially with no powers left. They can go back to living normal lives. Me and my men get the hell out of this place, and you two get reassigned." Director Graham laid out his rules.
"Of course. We just need the help." Kayleigh quickly agreed. Drew's eyes fell to the ground, sighing and shaking his head slowly. Clearly he still wasn't okay with this plan as a smile crossed Graham's face.
"Let's go save the day." Graham said sinisterly.

Javi, Cooper, Mollie, and Danny stood outside the high school. The four all had their fists clenched, as lighting continued to flash, yet no rain had begun to fall. Danny cracked his knuckles and rolled his shoulders, warming himself up for the fight. Javi flicked his hand out, causing it to catch fire right away. He took a deep breath and then focused, making it go away.
"Let's remember, we are just knocking them out. We don't want to do anything fatal." Mollie said.
"It's not like we would kill them to begin with." Cooper said, turning to look at her with a scrunched up face.
"Jesus Mollie, you think we would do that?" Javi followed up, taking a step back.
"That's what they're gonna try to do." Mollie reasoned.
"Just go kick ass everyone. Arguing about something stupid isn't gonna help anything." Danny said.
"It wasn't stupid." Mollie muttered, watching as Danny ran into the school. Javi, Cooper, and Mollie all jogged behind him, seeing the inside had slowly began to turn into an ice palace. The ice was spreading across the walls, making its way to the doors and then the outside of the building.
"Johnny." Danny muttered, staring forward and seeing his rival standing there, already in a fighting stance. "Go, I got this."
"Cooper, come on. We need to go to the gym." Mollie said, tugging on his arm. Cooper turned to look at Javi and gave him a nod.
"Save her. Please." Cooper told the youngest one. Javi took a deep breath and nodded multiple times.
"Save her. Save her." he whispered to himself, branching off from the others and headed towards the auditorium where the ice and cold weather was coming from.

FC sprinted around a few blocks, feeling the Higher Being close behind as bolts of lightning continued to strike the areas around him as he sprinted. People hid in their homes, the power from their houses leaving, being sucked up by the Higher Being to make his strikes just that much more powerful. Others tried to get to their cars, only to watch them be struck as well, blowing most of the vehicles up. Luckily, FC was help to get to them before they were caught in any blasters, but focusing on saving people slowed him down.
"I'm growing bored with this." the Higher Being spoke to himself, appearing in front of FC as he was running. FC collided right into the alien, feeling a spark run through from the contact. The blue hand of the creature snapped to FC's neck, squeezing on it and taking away his ability to breath.
"Stop." FC choked out, slowly being lifted into the air. He began to kick his legs out, but the weak kicks did nothing to the outer worldly being.
"Humans would compare you to a bug. Annoying. Waste of time to chase down. And easy to squish." the Higher Being spoke, before using his strength to throw FC down the street. The teen from the future went crashing into an abandoned bus, smashing right through the front window of it.
"Holy shit." FC muttered, gasping for air as he felt tiny pieces of glass in his hands and arms. He slowly stood up, only to see the Higher Being right on the other side of the window.
"Easy. To. Squish." the Higher Being repeated, making both hands into fists. He then thrusted his fists forward and sent out a large blast of electricity, causing FC to go flying through the metal back of the bus. He landed on the back of his head hard, causing his vision to become fuzzy and a cut to open on it.
"Help." he whispered, not knowing who he was talking, but just wishing someone would come to his aid. He saw the blue figure standing over him now, being able to make out a smirk on his face.
"Exterminated." the Higher Being said, raising his foot. He prepared to step onto FC's head before a shot was fired. It all seemed to slow down for FC as he watched a bullet whiz by the Higher Being's head, distracting him enough to allow FC to roll to the side. The blood from his cut began dripping down the sides of his face and looked up to see Kayleigh and Drew, both with pistols in hand. Standing between them was Director Graham, aiming a pistol at the Higher Being as smoke came off of the barrel of the weapon.
