Merry Christmas everyone! I know it's been a while. Maraming salamat sa lahat na nand'yan pa rin kahit na alam nila kung gaano ako katagal mag-update. Maraming salamat rin sa mga hindi na talaga makapaghintay because I'm still grateful na binasa niyo pa rin ang mga likha ko. Another Christmas has passed but I'm hoping that you will still be there hanggang sa matapos ko 'tong last installment of the Apollo Saga. It will be worth it. I'll make sure of it.
Chapter Ten
XAVIER'S EYES WENT wide when I gave him that knowing look. I gritted my teeth because I know that I was the one who expressed not to do it but Tita Leona has a point. Privus Trata made a huge step and we need to surpass the move that they have done. Kung hindi man ay at least pantayan to give them an impression that we are not an easy target by their bold move.
"Are you sure, bro?" Xavier asked and I can sense the curiosity of our audience while listening to our hidden messages.
"What are you talking about, brother?" ang kapatid ko na si Emerald ang bumasag ng katahimikan.
Tinanguan ko si Xavier bilang pagtugon sa kanyang katanungan. I set aside my pride we have left, basta makabawi man lang kami sa biglaang galaw ng kalaban.
Xavier glanced back to everyone and narrated what happened to our expedition of finding Anastasia Graham. I can hear their gasps when the story already touched the Aldeguer's appearance on our journey. Napansin kong hindi isinama ni Xavier sa kwento ang parte kung saan sinabi ng magkapatid ang patungkol sa dalawang Reyna na nakakulong sa Apollo and the kid who sold us to the devils.
"If they want Anastasia then for sure they're not focusing yet to get the Apollo stone." Utas ng nanay ni Xyrene matapos makapagkwento si Xavier.
"Bakit ho... Tita?" Penelope asked with awkwardness. Hindi alam ng pinsan ko kung paano i-a-address ang makapangyarihang ginang.
Tumingin sa aming dalawa ni Xavier si Leona Casigrahi. "Because the only person who can manipulate the power of Apollo without being disintegrated is Anastasia Graham. If you know the history of us getting it and it's lack of stability then you would know that the first generation of Royalties tried our best to make it stable. However, according to Lucilla Tieves-Graham— Mother of Anastasia, the Apollo needed a host to survive on our planet. Hence, it chose the body of her daughter."
Halos hindi kami makahinga sa naging kwento ni Leona.
"Since you're letting us know what happened to your journey and your exchange glances, can I conclude that you want to accept their offer of allegiance?"
Halata naman ang pagtutol ng ilan sa narinig kay Leona.
"We still have the stone and I think that's our advantage. Kung mahanap nga nila si Anastasia sa pakikipagtulungan namin then Asia has to use it so they can bring Xyrene and Vera back and Privus can do whatever they want with her. Panigurado akong sasang-ayon ang Asia na 'yon—" hindi na natuloy ni Xavier ang sasabihin nang biglang sumingit si Leona.
