Chapter Thirty-Three

"NO WILL KNOW, palalabasin nating iba ang pumatay sa kanya." Napailing iling si Aarav nang marinig ang gustong mangyari ni Anabelle kay Asia. "Her death is already due and she has to pay for it already, don't you agree? She's the reason why you were cursed remember?"

Both of them are walking on the hallway papunta sa torture cell kung nasaan si Asia. Aarav is the assigned lookout tonight but Anabelle suddenly appeared trying to provoke something from his past.

"I am no longer cursed," Aarav said. Gone is the jolly attitude he usually has but due to Anabelle's provoking words, he couldn't anymore.

Anabelle grinned at the sudden change of tone of Aarav. She knew she hit something, she's in doubt if it's still Aarav's triggering point and she succeeded. The only thing she needs to do now is to use it carefully.

"And you'll let that monster still alive? C'mon! She may be the reason why you're no longer cursed but remember all the sufferings that you needed to endure! All those moments where you needed to stay away from your brother just so you couldn't hurt him. Have you forgotten that your parents died loathing your existence?"

Napatigil na si Aarav sa kanyang paglakad dahil sa mga sinasabi ni Anabelle sa kanya. He inhaled and exhaled spontaneously while stopping his clenched fist to hit something.

Of course, he wouldn't forget that! Those were the moments in which he felt he's always on his deepest of the low. Moments where he's trying his best to be okay in front of others by masking it as a being jolly. Iyon ang mga panahong sinusumpa niya ang kanyang sarili, ang taong sumumpa sa kanya noon at ang mga taong tinuring siyang halimaw. Only his brother who console and helped him to get through it. Magmula nang lumabas ang sumpa niya noon ay ni hindi na siya tiningnan ng kanyang mga magulang bilang normal. They were ashamed of what he'd become. And it's all because of those who made him like that!

"Don't use that card on me, Anabelle." Iyon lang ang tanging sinabi niya sa dalaga at nagpatiuna na muli ng lakad.

"Why don't you all guys see the good thing that will happen if we'll get rid of her already?! Ang dami niyong hadlang, deserve naman niya! She caused this trouble within the Privus and now you are still so stupid to delay it?!" 'di na napigilan ni Anabelle ang bumulanghit dahil sa inis. This anxiety she feels whenever she knows that Asia is still breathing brings so much rage within her. No, not rage, loath! She loathes her that all she wanted now is to let her die!

"You just want to kill her now because you knew Alastair won't marry you because of her." Iyon ang inuuntag ni Aarav habang minuwestra niya ang mga bantay ng kwarto na umalis na.

Anabelle scoffed because she was offended by Aarav's accusation! "To hell with that! Alas will marry me after all of this! No one will stop that from happening, Privus won't allow it either!"

Napailing iling nalang si Aarav because Anabelle's tone is too immature to hear.

"Killing her now would only make your life shorten too," usal niya tapos ay tiningnan si Anabelle, "Tingin mo ba hindi kaya ni Boss na patayin ka? Don't deny that, Ana. Kung nakakamatay ang pagiging tanga, baka nauna ka pa kay Asia."

Anabelle is now fuming mad because of Aarav's words! She thought the man could help her terminate that woman but he only slapped her the truth! She hates to admit but Aarav has a point. Kapag pinatay niya ngayon ang babaeng 'yon, sigurado siyang isusunod siya ni Alastair sa oras na malaman iyon. Anabelle's tears are now forming especially whenever she remembers the moments that Alastair made her feel that he can end her life that easy. Far from the Alastair, he knew when she met him in Spain.
