Chapter Three

I sighed. Still bewildered with what the news aired. I'm actually expecting this to happen but I didn't know that they took what? Three years? Three years to finally use it against me.

My head tilted towards the cashier area. The woman standing there was also looking at me when she heard the news aired in the Café's huge television. She just broke her eye contact with me when a customer approached her.

"Miss!" my attention immediately drifted with one of the customers when she raised her hand. I removed those eerie thoughts aside and concentrated on my job.

I walked towards her and smiled with pure customer service.

"Yes?" I asked.

"Uhm, pa-order pa nga kami ng Banana cookies, please. Saka Mocha Frappe na rin mga anim." This is actually not part of my job. They can actually go straight to the cashier area and order what they're asking.

"You can go there in the cashier area for any additional orders." Politeness is killing me. Ugh!

The customer gave me a bitchy look. I sighed inwardly because I didn't expect that even here in a secluded resort, brats are still there trying to use their attitude to those they can bully.

"Can't you see that my friend here and I are busy? We can't just leave our place. She rebutted.

My patience is almost drifting.

Customer service, Asia. Kaya mo 'yan. The girl is a spoiled rich kid, based on her complexion, makeup, clothing and most of all... attitude.

Fine. Pagbigyan.

"Alright," I responded and she just gave me another shot of rolling eyes before looking back on her makeup mirror and started doing her retouch. "Anything else?"

It seems like I got her attention once again and I shouldn't have asked it. Damn it!

"Oh, yeah. Also, can you please ask someone to move another table on our pwesto kasi I have friends coming over from their beach houses? Thanks!"

I clenched my fist. Then, I smiled at her. "Sure, I'll take note of that."
