No One's POV(Third Person)

Metal met Iron, and a shower of sparks flew everywhere. Once the moment that two of the three blades came together, electrifying blue eyes were staring sharply into nearly, heartless black eyes. Hades was looking down on his son with a mixture of disdain, disgust, and a futile waste of life. Cory stared right back with just the same cool intent when their blades pressed against each other, he sharpened his gaze and fixated it on the man in front of him, anger flashing, just like the lightning storm Percy and Jason were making, assuming they're using their own anger.

"You horrid child, I'm sorry your mom died, I'm sorry her last moments were looking at this repulsive creature. Because you will have nothing, your life will be hollow after I slaughter that boy, what was his name again? Ah. Will, Will Sol-" Cory threw his second blade forward and separated the two, both of them taking a few steps backward.

"Don't you DARE say his name! A beautiful and bright name, being tainted with your tongue!" The teen screamed at him, more lightning flashed, but no rain came. It was a dry summer night and a great loss was going to settle over everyone soon, very soon.

Hades was bigger and taller, with a bulkier set of shoulders. His muscles were big and very visible. He was like Jason, Cory realized. Except, Jason would never hurt someone unless someone he loved was in danger or unless he absolutely needed to. The only similarity was that the two had a similar fighting style. Once the teen realized this, he could grasp an advantage over his former father. The guy who first started to teach him the art of a swordsman.

Cory was skinnier and lanky. He relied on speed and sharp movements, something quick and slowly takes away his opponents energy. He had thinner hips, and a lean build, the build of a swordsman. His dual-wielding was just a bigger plus.

Hades turned and tried to strike the smaller male's side, trying to make the fight quick, and simple. It would've stung, knowing that your greatest enemy thought so low of you, that they just wanted you out of the way. They wanted you out of the way so bad, that they even wanted to make it quick and painless.

But Cory knew. He knew that he was just a big thorn in Hades side. But -if not taken out-, a thorn that big can get infected, and it can start to chip away at the skin cells. Cory knew that much. So he was gonna be the biggest thorn in Hades side he's ever had.

Cory snapped to the side and caught his foot in a rock, which sent him rolling to the side. Hades towered over him, his blade aimed at Cory's chest, a devilish smirk on his face. "Your attitude, your actions, it's repugnant." I waited just a little longer, he wasn't close enough yet for this move to work. Just as Hades was about to kill Cory, he stepped forward to do it, which gave the teenager an opening. Cory threw his legs up and slammed them into Hades chest, sending the bigger male staggering backward.

The dark-haired teen stood up slowly, he could feel a forming bruise on his side and maybe a scrape or two on his hands, nothing bad. But the hit to Hades chest either broke something or would give him a nasty bruise.

Hades bit down on his lip as he stood clearly in pain from the movement. His glare locked onto his son, who stood a few yards in front of him, grabbing 'Stygian Night' off the ground and looked up to meet Hades gaze, who was just as full of hatred. "You'll pay that child." Cory moved his hand in a motion that made it look like he was mocking Hades words.

"Yeah yeah, heard it before, many times. Now, are you ready to back down, or do you need me to kick your ass while your men all die down there? Because I could go either way." Hades shouted out in anger and shot towards Cory with faster speed than before. It would be challenging, but Cory needed to hold him off until the time was right. He needed to wait, just until all Hades men are dead.
