The next day was quite different. As I walked through the corridors of our building, eyes were on me. I mean, those eyes glared at me as if they wanted me to die right there and then.

“What’s with me?”  I made way to the CR and looked myself at the mirror. “Right, I’m really ugly that’s why they kept on looking me like that.”  I removed my hair-bun and my hair fell just below my shoulders.

Luckily, when I went out, students were on their ways to their rooms and they prob’ly didn’t had time to look at me.

I took the test in Calculus with flying colors. The test was not as hard as I had expected. I wasn't able to thank Jisoo again for what he did the night before. I didn't even see him take the test. Oh well, I don't care. When Mr. Gee was checking the papers, he suddenly stopped and looked at me.

“Ms. Lancoln, over here.” I went to him and saw my paper. I myself was really shocked.

Perfect score.  ;D

“Did you study?”

“Are you stupid?” I wanted to say that sentence. But since he was a teacher, “Yea. Jisoo helped me.”

He laughed. “I see. Jisoo taught you.” He smirked at me. “It’s really different if you have an inspiration in life…” Then he went away.

What? Inspiration? Who?

I didn’t mind what Mr. Gee told me. It was a waste of time… Inspiration? Me? Na-uh.

In the afternoon, I went to the cafeteria to grab anything to eat.

“Hello Jennie. Where have you been? I’ve been looking for you!!”  Jisoo sat opposite me. I gave him the ‘huh’ look as I gave a bite to my burger.

“I said I’ve been looking for you since our Calculus!”

“armmm—why? rrmmm…” I said between chews.

“How was the test?”

“It was fine. I just got a perfect score.”  I said arrogantly.

“Oh that’s nice. I probably would get a perfect score too!”  He leaned closer. I moved away slightly. “Move over.”  I moved closer and we were like inches away.

He was like an uneasy child. “Hmm… do you have anything to do this afternoon?”

Huh? I looked at him suspiciously… Was he like, asking me out? As in… date? Jisoo?

Okay. I didn’t really say those words. It was the keyboard, and I wasn’t the one typing it. It was… never mind.

I raised my eyebrow at him.

“What?”  He almost whispered. I stared at him in surprise. I mean, he was that serious.

He bent back to his chair. “Don’t look at me like that. I’m not asking you out.”

I straightened.  “I didn’t say that.”  I defended myself. “You’re being defensive … and, and… I won’t come either if you ask me out.”

“Feeler. I will never ask you out ah! Feeler.”  He looked annoyed. HAHA.

“Ha-ha. I don’t care at all.”

“Forget about it. I’m going.” Suddenly, a girl came over. She wore a pink spaghetti top, skinny jeans and high heeled boots. I could see that she eyed for Jisoo, not me.

“Hi Jisoo… how’s your day?”

I saw Jisoo raise his eyebrows. “Fine.”  He looked at me. “Bye.”  Then he went away.

The girl stared angrily at me. “Don’t mingle around him. He’s mine.”

“Duh? As if I want him.”  I just walked away and left her there.

I went straight to my locker and was annoyed when I opened it. Okay scrap that annoyed, I was surprised. Dozens of pictures flooded me. I picked one and hated what I saw.

It was a close up picture of what happened in front of the guidance room. Close up.

All of the pictures were the same. Jisoo looked as if he was about to kiss me and I was just staring at him in the eye.

“What the heck is this?”

“You’re gonna hate yourself for doing that and being a flirt to Jisoo.”  She was, the girl with boots. Uhm actually, she wasn’t alone. There were many of them in boots.

Jisoo’s fans club--- as I called it.

“What are you talking about? And I am not a flirt okay?”

“You planned to kiss him!”

“Of course I didn’t.”

“You did.”

“I didn’t”

“You did.”

“I didn’t”

“You did.”

“I didn’t”

And so… went the conversation.

“Nice picture huh?” We looked back to see Jisoo.

“Oh thank goodness. Jisoo, explain this to them.”  I commanded Jisoo.

He stared at me and smirked. He was so annoying. How could he smile in the middle of this situation?! He walked slowly towards me, staring at the picture in his hand. I could see the curve in his lips.

“Actually, I have nothing to explain.”

The next words that came out of his mouth were out-of-this-whole-wide-world. Out of the whole-wide-universe. Even the aliens would have a hard time understanding what he said.

It was insane.

I tell you, I nearly fainted.

The girls themselves were shocked too.

I literally thought the earth would swallow me down.

He wrapped his arm around my waist. “Girls, to tell you the truth… we’re officially together now. Well, that picture just shows how we earnestly love each other. In fact, we’re going out for a date.”  He looked at me, "Right?" He pulled me closer to his body.

“WTH? TOGETHER?! SINCE WHEN?!”  :o
