"Beomgyu please don't kill them!" You hurriedly ran forward to grab the gun from his hand, in which he had pointed at the couple before him.
The ruthless mafia leader didn't look back at you, but instead kept a stone like glare trained on the girl and boy kneeled on the ground before him.
You couldn't manage to grab the gun from him, but your hand enveloped his, and he actually seemed to be listening to you. "They were just in the wrong place at the wrong time. They don't deserve this," you explained, shifting to stand in front of him. The gun was now aimed at your chest, and you couldn't help but feel a huge amount of fear wash over you.
His eyes stared into yours for the first time since you'd entered his office, and a desperation filled his brown orbs.
He hissed, "Y/n move" But you didn't move. You wouldn't move, because you wouldn't allow him to kill these two innocent teens who hadn't done anything, except for being at the wrong place at the wrong time. "No. I'm not going to move" you shook your head, ignoring the warning looks coming from Beomgyu's friends behind him. They were sending you the most nervous and worrisome glances, as if telling you it'd be in your best interest to move if you wanted to live another day with them.
"I'm not going to ask again!" He snapped. "Get out of the way!" He took your silence to his demand as you not obeying. Beomgyu knew you weren't moving. You were far to stubborn for that, especially in something you believed in.
With one harsh glare from the boy you loved, you found yourself hearing a loud bang go off. It scared you and you closed your eyes during the transition. But no pain erupted through you, no warm blood spilling from your body. Opening your eyes slowly, you looked at Beomgyu confused. The gun had been pointed towards the ceiling, and a bullet hole had now been embedded above you both.
"Fucking hell," he released a exasperated sigh and the gun was lowered to his side. With another angry huff, he turned on his heel and began storming out of the room. He was gone from the office within minutes, and suddenly the two strangers who you were protecting let out a sigh of relief. Their bodies sinking to the ground thankfully.
Also letting out a sigh, you turned to face the strangers who had stopped shaking. "Yeonjun and Taehyun will escort you both home safely" the male was comforting the girl, who seemed to be his girlfriend or lover of some sort.
Both standing up, you couldn't help but feel odd. They were young, and they reminded you of Beomgyu and You. "Thanks for helping us..." the teen said standing up, reaching for the girls hand to help her stand as well. "You saved us thank you so much!" You were bombarded with a bone crushing hug.
"Oh..." you were shocked by the sudden psychical contact from the young girl. "You're welcome" you smiled, releasing her to let Taehyung and Yeonjun grab their attention so they could take them home.
With two kind smiles from them, they were maneuvering around you and towards the two mafia members.
Now you were in a empty office alone. Still a tiny bit shaken up that Beomgyu did have a gun aimed at you only minutes ago. A part of you hoped he wouldn't be capable of shooting you because of the intimate relationship you had. But another part of you knew he probably wouldn't have a problem with shooting you.
But you loved Beomgyu, he'd surprisingly been a lot of your firsts. Your first kiss, first intimate partner, first male you could actually trust. And even if he did hold a gun to you, he was still the first person that you ever actually deeply trusted on a different level.
You knew you needed to go find him though. To talk to him even if he was pissed. Because if you didn't talk to him and fix things, he wouldn't be able to focus on other important things. Like the Mafia. Heuningkai said he'd been like that before because of an disagreement that you had months ago, and apparently one of his men had died because he couldn't focus on the task at hand. You wouldn't allow any more people to die all because Beomgyu had a slight temper and got distracted easily.
You eventually found him after roaming the hallways for a huge chunk of time. He'd been in your shared room, pacing like something was bugging him deeply.
The room was fairly large, and he scaled it as if was the smallest in the world; as of waiting to pace more in a different area completely. There was a huge bed in the center of the room, a pretty large desk off to the side, and a master bathroom and closet off to the other side.
Everything looked in place, except for his pacing form.
"I can't even do my job because of you..." Beomgyu mumbled venomously, his hands slamming against the mattress that he was now standing at he end of.
"Soobin noticed," he stated. "They think I'm going soft" You knew that wasn't good. He was a ruthless mafia leader, ceo of a huge company, and was somewhat in the spotlight. He couldn't afford to look weak, not because of a girl. It'd prove to others that he could easily get pushed over by a female and submit to love... He didn't need that or else every— thing would crumble.
"Are you?" You asked, eyes dancing with his own. He was confused now, that much you could tell.
"...Are you turning soft?" You asked skeptically.
It all happened so fast, and before you knew it his hands were placed around your throat and his knee was between your legs. "I'd like you to answer that for me," he teased darkly. "Do you think I'm turning soft?"
"I think you're not the same guy I knew two years ago," it was true. When you first met Beomgyu he was so cold towards you, ruthless even. But then he changed. You two started to kiss, hug, hold hands. Do things only couples would do. But you weren't a couple. Sure you had sex, a lot. And yes, you did love him deeply. But you weren't sure he knew the meaning of love. He'd never muttered the three words to you. So yes, he has changed and turned somewhat soft and weak under your accidental touch.
He sighed aggravated, releasing you and walking towards the bathroom. You followed closely behind, keeping a hand on his back, just hoping to comfort him in anyway.
"I knew I shouldn't have ever decided to take you back here with me. Because now I'm distracted" he explained, palms leaning on the marble sink counter.
"It's a good distraction" you said cheerfully, arms circling around his torso while your head leaned on his back. "And please don't be mad at me for earlier," you said softly, standing on your toes to kiss his neck. He just smiled at the soft gesture.
"You really know how to make a bad guy turn good," he whispered reaching for your hand to hold in his own.
"Because now I think I love you"
